Lunch!

This is a "locals" hangout that's off the beaten path. Great food with a wide selection made fresh daily. Dining inside or outside is available. They offer salads, sandwiches and deserts. We tried several items and ended up buying more to take home after we finished eating lunch.

Had tuna sandwich for lunch. Was a little sweet but not too much. Rye bread very fresh. Was a little surprised there was a .40 extra charge for tomato on sandwich. Service good and efficient. Not fancy decor at all. Didn't have dessert but they look very homemade. Need to try next time.

Grew up with this family traditional cake and could not have been more pleased then to find it in Dunwoody. Carrott, Chocolate, and coconut cakes are also exceptional and generously sized. The owner has developed outstanding ingredient combinations to creatively offer unique sandwiches, not your every day BLT. (but you can order that too) My favorite is "The Golden Gate",... More

I usually get a sandwich or soup when I visit this bakery/deli, and the food is always good. But the real reason I am there is the cake. I was looking for a great cake for my niece's bridesmaid brunch, and after some research (both on line and sampling), I decided on Wright's. My niece is a chocolate fiend, so... More

We are planning to visit the original Wright's in Tampa in Jan 2015 before a cruise but while reading their website, I noted that the Wright's youngest son started a similar shop in Dunwoody. Since I had to be in the area today, I decided to get take out for my wife and myself. The restaurant is in the shoppes... More

While staying in the Atlanta area we visited Wright's with a local resident. Not a total disappointment. They have a nice covered patio out front, but we were picking up our food and returning back home. Now to the food ~ we tried the Cuban Sandwich, the Shrimp Po'Boy and several of their desserts. The sandwiches were quite good and... More

Had lunch with wife. Not a fancy place but very local feel which I like. I had a half tuna salad sandwich and wife had a salad. Both were good. Tuna was a little sweet which was unusual but I still liked. But main thing was a lemon aid cake. We were having guest that night and took a whole... More

ON a Saturday afternoon after shopping most of they day at 2 PM entered Wright's which was quite but nice, the young gentlemen at the counter was not familair with the menu and could NOT answer any of our questions about the menu without consulting other employees, ordering corn beef sandwich which was cold and thick and a chicken salad... By far Wright Gourmet makes great sandwiches and has wonderful cakes and cup cakes, but the place is a real dump. Used and mis-matched furniture with uneven tables. Garbage bins during lunch time are over flowing.Dated restroom. Mr. Wright, you have been in business for a long time and isn't it about time you spruce up the dining area?

This Dunwoody relic has a reputation that, at this point, far exceeds its delivery. The sandwiches are good, yes. And, admittedly, it is difficult to find a good deli sandwich elsewhere in the area. Beyond that, I don't get it. There are very few other options besides the sandwiches (pasta salad, chips, etc.). The atmosphere is severely lacking. Think plastic... More
