I was attending a performance at a local theater and wanted a restaurant in the same general vicinity. I came across Peter's and was glad I did. I booked reservations several days in advance and when guests and I arrived at the scheduled time we were seated immediately by the owner. My date had the rainbow trout, I had sausage... More

This is one of my favorite ATL restaurants! The food at Peter's is great! Salads and soups are always good; but the the daily pasta specials (usually different types of Ravioli) are phenominal. While the food is really delicious... it's the atmospher that makes this a fun place! Owner, Peter A., is always walking and talking with everyone. He is... More

The food here is perfectly decent, but you should be hungry for Italian or you will have a hard time making a choice. Food was tasty; chicken Francese was tender and the spinach garlicky and very good. Husband liked the meatballs. Drinks were excellent but asking for a specific brand raised the price from $6 to $12. Salads were a... More

We recently met a couple for dinner last evening at Peter's . We were seated next to a large group who apparently felt that they had rented out the entire restaurant because they were so loud we had to almost scream to hear our conversation. We asked for a different table when seated and were told that there were no... More

Peter's is a family favorite of our's. We have been going there since Peter opened and visit about once a month. They recently made a few changes to the menu, which I found improved an already great selection. One impressive entree offering is the scallops served over a mushroom risotto...delicious. They also have great sea bass and sole dishes, and,... More

Peter and son, Alex, have a great "continental" Italian restaurant with delicious food, excellent, attentive service, and a very nice wine list. Never a disappointment at Peter's. The kitchen staff must be there a long time because the food is consistently great. Love the veal chop, but the pasta dishes are just like you would get at home. Cozy bar--and... More

Great neighbor restaurant. I do not under stand the references to High Cotton because Peter's is not only better but more professionally run. We enjoy the personal service, good meals and wine list compared with over priced and not friendly Oscar's.

A friend of ours recommended this as a good local date night restaurant. We were a bit pessimistic as we knew of most places in the area, but gave it a try. Don't be put off by the 1980's decor, the food is quite good. We both had veal dishes and were both extremely happy. Very tasty without the salt... More

Was an excellent place, but closed over a year ago. Replaced by Peter's - a decent place but no match for High Cotton, which is greatly missed.

Once we discovered High Cotton, we quickly became "regulars". The food is fantastic and the service is always great. They are very accommodating for special requests. It's a good value as salad and sides are included in most prices - comparable to Houston's, but much friendlier.
