My wife and I have traveled to Italy and number of times, and have been on a search in the US for years great carbonara. We finally found it. I also had veal picatta and my wife had pistassio encrusted grouper, and the entire meal was delicious (including one of the best caesar salads I've ever had). Will definitely return!

This little Italian restaurant is right in the heart of Dunwoody and seems very non-descript from the exterior. We tried it for my husband's birthday and it could not have been better. Once you walk in the door, you feel transported to a different place, with dark wood paneling and an italian countryside feel. It was elegant, quiet, and perfect.... More

Chef, Kitchen, and Wait Staff were all wonderfully helpful and sensitive to Vegetarians in our party. Others ordered authentic, traditional dishes that were ALL Amazing. Only one other restaurant in Atlanta (near downtown) can do a Risotto as it SHOULD BE DONE ... THANK YOU FOR A DINNER TO REMEMBER!

Visited 12/14/2012 My family loves Italian cuisine. Opposed to dining at our usual Maggiano's or Brio, we chose to venture our taste buds to Carbonara, since it's also highly rated. The restaurant was hard to find, but upon entering, it immediately felt like home. I loved the openness and "family style" seatings. The food took extremely long to prepare, but... More

Have had 2 meals since the open; pleased with both. Dunwoody has a tradition of difficulty when it comes to keeping restaurants. Italian has been the one exception and we might see history repeating. Service was very good and the owner was "omnipresent." Good crowd and all seemed to enjoy. The osso bucco was nicely done along with a very... More

My wife and I have eaten here three times. The food is authentic Italian. I should know, my parents are from Calabria. I had the fettuccini Bolognese and my wife had the penne Arrabiatta. Both were al dente with just the right amount of "gravy". We have decided to dine here once a week. Dunwoody needs a true Italian restaurant.... More

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant last night. We received prompt, polite & fast service. The owner was present & helpful to patrons, as well as staff. The food was fresh and delicious. We will be back.

We love this place. The food is inventive and tasty. Service is personal and attentive. Prices are reasonable. And its close to home! So nice not to have to leave our hometown to find a great meal. Support this local businessman and his gem of a restaurant!

We have dined here three times, once for lunch, twice for dinner, as recently as this past week. You may find some older reviews on other sites that are less than flattering, but those were during a period when the restaurant had not yet hit its stride, as is the case with many new eateries. Well, they've hit it now... More

We dined here to celebrate our anniversary, arriving at a busy time on a Friday evening. We were seated without a reservation -- although given how crowded it was, a reservation would have been a good idea. We both ordered the caprese salad, which was excellent. I enjoyed the spinach and ricotta ravioli; my spouse ate every bit of the... More
