We went on a Saturday night with reservations. We weren't seated until about 30 minutes after or reservation, but there were a lot of large Prom groups who were beginning to leave as we arrived, so it was understandable. While we were waiting the owner himself greeted us, which was very nice. The food was wonderful, however we had a... More

My wife and I ate at Sugo this evening and I am not sure how this restaurant received such a high ranking. The appetizers did not come out together. Both dishes that we were had were heavily sauced - one with bland vegetables, the other in a thick "picatta" sauce that was very light on the lemon and very few... More

My wife and I had a great dinner at this wonderful restaurant. Owner and his wife were greeting customers at the front. Nice environment but a bit too dark for my liking. Good for romantic dinner. Service was standard. We did not order any wine and drinks just go right into the food. Special for the night was Swordfish which... More

Had a very pleasant business dinner here. Clearly good food and service, but a bit heavy on the stomach compared to the European style. The meatball starter was excellent and there was an outstanding sliced beef. Slightly odd to get a traditional Itallian in a modern building!

From the moment you sat down, you could tell that they have a passion for what they do. Mr. C was awesome, coming to our table to give us the history of the restaurant and how they get such fresh ingredients they use. We had a group of 15 and not one person had anything negative to say. We were... More

Excellent cocktail menu with a lot of classics. Had the opportunity to try the Pimm's Cup which was refreshing. The meatball for starters was delicious sweet and juicy. The flatbread was also excellent with it's pesto sauce and crispy crust. For dinner don't miss the black truffle pasta. You will be well taken care for by the owners and administrators.... More

Visited on a weeknight for husband's birthday dinner. It was a quiet night. Food was really good, esp. the appetizers and dessert. overall, really nice evening.

Food is ALWAYS excellent, the bar service is excellent, and the overall dining experience is superb. Doesn't hurt that the owner, Mr. C, is very involved.

I had never been to Sugo but a friend wanted to use her birthday month discount, so we tried it. At first, the service seemed a little sketchy - I had to wave someone down for some water, but then after water and a glass of wine, it was a fun and delicious experience. The menu was very involved so... More
