I am half Italian, grand daughter of immigrants so very picky about my Italian food. This was an amazing experience with some of the best traditional and different Italian I've ever had. The meatball appetizer is not to be missed -- I avoid meatballs, have never had better than my grandmothers/mine, but these beat them, delicious (and they teach a... More

My wife and I enjoy eating at Sugo and tend to eat there 2-3 times a year, including for our anniversary. We've taken the kids (10, 13) and they like it, but they bring down the otherwise romantic ambiance. This is the kind of place where you want to try to specials. Mr. C., the owner, will visit your table... More

I was pleasantly surprised retrying Sugo after many years of avoiding it. We celebrated a friends birthday and the food, wine and staff was all outstanding. If you haven't been in a while (or ever), give it a try! I wish I hadn't waited so long to return!

Good food if that's your cup of tea! I am not impressed with Italian food! However Sugo is a good choice for that type of restaurant although a bit pricey.

Where does one begin....First you are served delectable dishes by servers who care about your happiness... then visited by an owner who takes time to really engage you in meaningful conversation. That's Sugo. Mr. & Mrs. C have broken the code. I go to Sugo as often as I can and have NEVER been disappointed.

First the food is awesome, the atmosphere is breath taking, the meat ball making class was a classic learning experience. The staff was very professional and accommodating. This restaurant was suggested by the mother of one of the chefs,Giovanni, who works at LA Fitness (Gi Gi), and I was not disappointed. Being from out of town I really appreciated the... More

This is our "go to" restaurant for date nights, birthday/anniversary outings, etc. Kid are welcome, but we usually go sans kids. We have tried almost everything on the menu over the years, and it is all great. If you can catch one of the special wine-pairing dinners, that is quite a treat. They know their food, and they know their... More

My husband and I cannot give enough superlatives to the Castellucci family for making the rehearsal dinner we hosted at Sugo for our son's wedding memorable!

A restaurant like Sugo in Duluth would be something you would expect in Buckhead or Midtown. We are so lucky to have a great restaurant in the Northern Suburbs. We had the compressed watermelon salad with Feta Cheese- that reminded me of my summers in Italy. This was followed by a delicate clams and pasta plate that was freshly made... More

This is off our normal path, but we had eaten here before and had made it a mission to return. This was not easy because the restaurant is not open on Sunday, and is a 70 mile round trip. We had an early Saturday reservation. To summarize quickly--personable, knowledgeable waiter, friendly staff, and terrific food. We think that this is... More
