Everything we ordered was outstanding: Steak Diane (the aromas coming from the table side prep...wow!), ribeyes (topped with brie and bacon, YUM!, cooked perfectly), and duck (crisp skin, cooked perfectly). What a find! I had no idea this place existed. It is big city fine dining in the burbs. Found this searching Open Table one Friday night looking for a place to eat. When pulling up it does not look like anything special as it at the end of a strip center, but once you walk in the door you... More

If you want the exception for an evening, this is your place. Buckhead dining in Johns Creek. The food is just as good as some other local eateries, however; there are some unique menu items worth the taste. In addition, you are paying for the atmosphere. If you want romance, a quiet night or drink, alone time or small serious... More

My husband and I went to Viande Rouge while having a night out without the kids. The food is wonderful (we had fondue, filet mignon, cauliflower, sweet potato casserole, and Peaches Louis). The service is what would be expected at any fine dining restaurant, with knowledge of the menu, proper serving, polite and professional manners, and skilled table side prep... More

My wife and I decided it was time to try this steakhouse. The experience was great. Waiter was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the wine list and menu. We started with salads and the Caesar was made table side. Dinner is a main dish with self priced sides. I had a strip steak and my wife the grouper. Steak was perfect,... More

Last night my wife and I celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary at Viande Rouge. We had eaten there previously and always kept it in our top handful of local restaurants to consider for special occasions. Frankly, our experience last night was the best we have had in almost three years of living in the Atlanta area. Everything about the evening... More

We had dinner here last night and it was excellent. Filet and salmon were both prepared excellently. It was nice to see every staff member, from bartender to receptionist help serve large parties. Great teamwork.

Because of the price of the meals we use this as our special occasion restaurant. It is very French meaning heavy on the sauces. The only thing I could get fora side that wasn't in a sauce was the wood grilled asparagus. I do love their beef bourguignon and my husband had their grouper. Excellent. Also a friend had a... More

The atmosphere here is great, the service and attention from staff seems to be up there with the good 'uns too. Even the appetizers were pretty good, but the mains were just OK, which is frankly a let down given the build up to that point and the prices.

The Sea Bass was supposed to be served over spinach with a buerre blanc sauce. It was served floating in copious amounts of a broth that bore no relationship to the fish. We ordered 3 sides. Potatoes Dauphinoise was old and precooked many moons ago.it was dry, grey and looked unappetizing,it had been warmed slightly, they tried to moisten it... More
