Great Atmosphere and Good Steaks

Whenever I want a good steak with a casual Texas atmosphere, I go to the Texas Roadhouse. This time I had the bone in ribeye and it was full of flavor and cooked like I like it. The rolls are always good and the sweet potato side was great. Their side salad is ok. We also took home a bag... read more

We dine frequently at Texas Roadhouse locations near our home and when traveling and we normally have a good experience with the chain. Not the case in Douglasville. We arrived around 7:00 PM on a Wednesday evening so it was not during peak. We were seated at a table in the bar area (don't know why there were regular tables... More

Went here after getting a 45 minute wait time at Outback Restaurant. There were four of us. One got Prime Rib, which was loaded with fat. One got Steak Kabobs, which were good. Two got chicken Caesar salads, which were made with extremely cold lettuce- one was obviously thawing and had severe freezer burn (returned to kitchen). The replacement salad... More

I've eaten at two of these steak houses now and come away with mixed feelings. This restaurant was very busy on the saturday night I went. The staff was friendly and the pace was quick. The floor left me wanting to wash my shoes before I got into the car. The food was good, the steak was done well and... More

The food was good. I ordered an order to bring back to the hotel. Once I got to the restaurant, I had to wait another 15 minutes to get my order even though I had ordered 25 minutes earlier. They forgot 3 or 4 items, like butter, silverware, salt etc. That is all needed when eating in a hotel room.

No, it's a good thing. The BF and I have been on a horrible service, food and lodging rut. So, we were shocked when we walked into a jam packed Texas Roadhouse on a Sunday evening! Our server, Heather, took care of us promptly! I ordered the onion blossom, but it was too salty for my taste. I was afraid... More

...but if you are in Douglasville and can't get away to ATL, then it is one of the better steakhouses. You will have about a 30-45 min wait on Saturday night. I recommend "call ahead" seating. The bread and cinnamon butter is delicious. I also like the rattlesnake bites and fried pickles. My hubby had the hamburger and said it... More

We have been to this restaurant many times now, and never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly, the service is fast, and the food is wonderful. These are the best steaks in the area and the rolls with honey butter are awesome. Try the Rattlesnake Bites with an ice cold beer!

It's been close to three years since I visited, and reviewed this restaurant here on TA. Last time, in 2012, I gave it 5/5 and was thrilled with my steak. This time, we, party of 4, arrived right at 4:00 opening today. Maybe that was the problem. When seated, there was no silver on the table. We received our drinks... More

This restaurant was conveniently located across the street from our hotel and offered enough of a selection to please everyone in the family. Plus, you can't go wrong with the warm rolls with cinnamon butter!! However, if you're looking for something quiet this is definitely not the place. It's good for families and sports enthusiasts tho!!
