Somebody Pinch Me

We keep coming here time after time for great dining, and I fear that we are due for an epic fail. Not tonight. It was another perfect meal. Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming. We sat in the garden area, our favorite spot. It is enclosed but it feels like the great outdoors. We shared a mushroom... read more

My wife and I attended a college alumni function and ate Sunday brunch at Wahoo in a private dining area. I would describe the assortment of brunch items Noveau Southern food. We had creamy and tasty shrimp and grits, biscuits, eggs, an array of flavorful and hearty salads, chicken, and other unique brunch items. Each of the items was freshly... More

My wife and I wanted a nice dinner with a great wine pairing. It has been some months since we had been to Wahoo and decided it would be the perfect place to have the nice dinner we were craving. Upon arrival we allowed the valet to park our car and were welcomed into Wahoo. We were taken to a... More

It's great place for brunch. It was nice and quiet when I was there. The food is delicious. It Georgia trout. It was nicely done. The pesto butter is a nice touch.

I love the restaurants that are surprisingly placed in locations no one would put anything else. It's front faces the railroad tracks, so sometimes you get a treat! From the front it's a small location, but surprisingly, there's a garden in the back with outdoor seating--been here a few times and never know that. That will be my next seat!... More

This is a family and neighborhood favorite. While dinner is consistent and always tasty, to me brunch is where Wahoo really shines. especially on Easter and Mother's Day. The patio is just lovely and almost magical. Staff are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Prices are what you expect for this quality and service. Love the shrimp and grits! Best I've ever... More

What a gem of a restaurant. The dinner menu is excellent. Don't pass up the Mediterranean Salad...delicious! Loved the grouper and they allowed me to substitute the Mac n' Chees with greens, which are outstanding. My friend loved her fried chicken too. Bread pudding gets an A+. Will definitely return.

When we travel to Atlanta, Wahoo is one restaurant to which we always return. The food is contemporary with an emphasis on fish dishes. The trout was fresh, served over sauteed spinach. My husband does not like fish, so he had the New York strip that melted in his mouth. They has an extensive wine, beer and cocktail list. The... More

We had a wonderful meal at Wahoo. I had scallops which were generous (4 large ones) cooked to perfection, no breading, seasoned tastily. Tender yet thoroughly cooked. The side was a "vegetable" which surprised me by being butternut squash. My partner had the fried chicken and I don't think I have ever tasted it so well seasoned and moist and... More

We attended a group brunch at the busiest time on a Sunday and it was handled flawlessly. The food was exceptionally tasty and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and were not hurried or tense about the crowd and took the time to help guests with every need. Our group was in the tent outside which was very comfortable despite... More
