A fine establishment

An appealing restaurant and bar with high ceilings and good lighting. It's in the heart of downtown Decatur and has an extensive beer list with knowledgeable bartenders. And the food's not bad either. I took my Jersey cousin here and he raved about it for days.

This restaurant is usually crowded and loud, but in the way a place with affordable good food and beer ought to be. If you are not planning to grab a seat at the bar, expect decently long wait times if you go in the evenings. That being said, the bar is a great place to be. Great beer selections, especially... Stopped in because of its recommendations. Stated a full-service bar but I couldn't get a mojito (no fresh mint) or a Ketel Press (no Ketel One). We did enjoy a wine tasting and although I didn't like any of them, my colleague did order a glass of one of the wines we tasted.

First time visiting this pub bar with a limited menu that really delivers the goods. The prices are a little high, the mood, vibe and atmosphere are relaxing and really good. Loved the exposed brick, the laid back yet attentive servers, and Fats Domino vibe. The drinks were brought and food was ordered quickly. After a reasonable time our food... More

This is a favorite of ours! Every time we're in Decatur the Brick Store is a must. Food is delicious, atmosphere is fun and the beer is tasty.

Good food. Some different takes on regular fare, but good. My 12 year old son liked the fish n chips. He also commented that he would go there again - "they refilled by tea without my asking." Service is sometimes slow - you don't have an assigned server - they all serve all tables.

Almost a stereotype, all the servers are bearded, tattooed, or both. The decor and the menus are recycled materials. The beer menu goes on for pages and the servers are all about making suggestions based on their experience. You can ask for tastes of any of the micro brews or imports. Some are truly unusual or in my mind weird.... More

I had the meat loaf sandwich and it was excellent. A little crowded but worth the wait. Great draft beer selection and a good selection of single malt scotch. Atmosphere is rustic with no obvious dress code. Can't wait go back!

This has place has a fantastic selection of international beers, most of which are served in the correct brand glass. Bar food is excellent and a little out of the ordinary, and there is an enormous wait staff which is very efficient. This place is often packed, and there is an upstairs area where you can sometimes find a seat.

Love this place! Just off the square in Decatur. Have tried numerous dishes including their take on shepherd's pie. Everything has been top notch! Go upstairs and revel in their Belgian focused room. Incredible selection of favorites and unknowns.
