Love this place!

True comfort food when you need it! Have a craving for turkey and dressing they have it. Great pies for dessert and service is always good. They are doing the right thing to be in business as long as they have.

Disappointing in every way. Food which is supposed to be fresh is not. Most of it tastes like fresh out of a can. Service is good but can't make up for poor food. Many places have much better comfort food.

Had lunch couple years ago here and was disappointed but wanted to try breakfast. Even though it is old and badly needs updating, this is my kind of place. Old school and the kind of place that was common back when I was a child. Glad we stopped in. Waitress has worked here 41 years and was very good. Food... More

Over the years we have stopped in here for breakfast and dinner with family. Service has always been very good and quality food too. There are many regulars who dine here. It is comfort food and just nice and casual. It does need some updating of decor. Good value.

This place has a nice old style setting and is apparently kept in business by the older local crowd that has been coming here loyally since 1946. I tried it twice. First time the service was extremely slow to the point I changed waitresses. Second visit was for the pancakes that others have posted are great. Thy may have been... More

The outside of the building looks a little run down and the inside could use some updating. But the place was highly recommended by several people to us. The food was good, especially the breakfast.

We were visiting a patient at Emory Hospital, and one of the staff members recommended this restaurant. Boy, are we glad that we dropped in for lunch. Kind of a "meat and two" restaurant. You take a booth and order from a large overhead blackboard (or the table menu). The wait staff have all been working there for many years... More

Evans has been around for years. It's a family run business that specializes in a meat and two. We eat there often, and I definitely have favorites. They have excellent country friend steak, turkey and dressing, and chopped sirloin patties. We also enjoy breakfast, especially the country ham. Good hamburgers and fries also. Most customers are regulars from the neighborhood... More

It is a family tradtion for us to have breakfast at Evans on special Saturday mornings. They have the best scrambled eggs with cheese you'll ever get and delicious pancakes. The coffee is good and they keep the refills coming. The only weak link on the breakfast menu is the biscuits. We usually order toast instead and I guess we... More

This restaurant has been in business for 60+ years and has been a place to meet for several generations. The food is excellent and the people working there are down home folks. Some have made a career working there. One lady has been there 40+ years and raised 6 children as well. Quite an accomplishment. I would recommend this place... More
