A wonderful little French bistro hidden in Decatur. The food is authentic french and the place reminds me of a number of places I have visited in France.

The first time my wife had the Beef Wellington here, she asked the hostess to have the chef come to the table. I think he thought he was in trouble and about to get a complaint, but she said "This was the best meal i ever had!" We have never been disappointed here. The size of the place is like... More

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I've been for lunch and dinner (and always get dessert). The bœuf bourguignon is perfect. The fig and honey salad dressing is amazing (and you can purchase a jar). The French onion soup is also wonderful. I don't think there's a thing on the menu I don't love. The atmosphere is... More

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at the small white tablecloth covered tables in this authentic cafe, that made us feel like were in France! I ordered the salad with goat cheese and house honey and fig dressing and it was delicious.Tender greens, sliced cucumber, grated carrot, and sliced tomato were drizzled with dressing, and four slices of... This is a wonderful little place. We had a very tasty French Onion Soup & Sandwich. The sandwich bread was crunchy & delicious, just like we ate in France. The place is small but has a authentic French ambiance. I can't wait to go back. The price was very reasonable for a light lunch. The waitress (likely owner) was personable... More

Café Alscace is that quiet little neighborhood French café that is confident in its ability to satisfy. Its entrance and signage is subtle and classy. While inside, the mood is comfortable and only slightly refined. We went for brunch. The food was all excellent. Service was a little short of professional, but it was exceedingly well-meaning. Value was good. I... More

A wonderful lunch with a friend. Beautiful space. Attentive owner. Delicious food and wine. Absolute perfection. We both ordered one of the specials - an amazing quiche with asparagus. The French Onion soup was wonderful, as was the Carrot Ginger soup. If you can't get away to France, at least go to Decatur for authentic food with excellent service in... More

A colleague and I had lunch here. We had french onion soup and a sandwich and a salad. Quality ingredients simply made for an enjoyable lunch. Since we were catching up after several years of not having seen each other, we sat and chatted. The staff didn't make a peep until they needed to prepare for dinner. Thank you Cafe... More

I have gone past Cafe Alsace for years and finally met a colleague there for dinner on a cold and wintry weeknight. It is a tiny footprint of a place - reminds me of a family-owned bistro - with tables scattered about, close but not too close. The room is very homey but the nice touch of cloth tablecloths and...
