Bon for Brunch

A wonderful lunch with a friend. Beautiful space. Attentive owner. Delicious food and wine. Absolute perfection. We both ordered one of the specials - an amazing quiche with asparagus. The French Onion soup was wonderful, as was the Carrot Ginger soup. If you can't get away to France, at least go to Decatur for authentic food with excellent service in... More

A colleague and I had lunch here. We had french onion soup and a sandwich and a salad. Quality ingredients simply made for an enjoyable lunch. Since we were catching up after several years of not having seen each other, we sat and chatted. The staff didn't make a peep until they needed to prepare for dinner. Thank you Cafe... More

I have gone past Cafe Alsace for years and finally met a colleague there for dinner on a cold and wintry weeknight. It is a tiny footprint of a place - reminds me of a family-owned bistro - with tables scattered about, close but not too close. The room is very homey but the nice touch of cloth tablecloths and... We have enjoyed this little, quaint, authentic, Alsatian restaurant for years..Part French, part German, and all great! With an expanded menu, and nice wines reasonably priced, and desserts to die for! Lavender Honey homemade ice cream on their warm tart! Heaven! After all of our visits, they just keep better each time. Go! Enjoy! Now getting close to perfect!!!

It had a nice relaxed atmosphere for a business meeting. Lunch menu wasn't extensive but the food was very good. Service was prompt and attentive

Visited for lunch on a Sunday. Got the last table and boy were we glad we did. The food was wonderful - absolutely the best Croque Monsieur I've eaten outside of France and Belgium (and I've eaten a lot of them). My lunch partners also raved about the Quiche Lorraine and the Eggs Benedict. Also tried the house pate which... More

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant during a recent visit with my parents in Decatur. It's tiny and I was quite surprised how busy it was on a Wednesday night (there are no less than 15 restaurants within 200 yards of this place). It's clearly a favorite for locals - including my parents, who have been loyal patrons... More

Great little restaurant in Decatur for any occasion. Food was first rate and the portions very generous. Nice wine selection also. I will definitely go back again..

This is our second visit! With friends, we enjoyed a fine, fresh salad, delicious entrees including trout, scallops, and coq au vin. Everyone raved about the fine food in this small culinary gem! We accompanied our meal with two bottles of a bright, white Bordeaux! Delicious desserts included apple, raspberry, almond bread pudding with caramel sauce and ice cream AND... More
