Excellent Late dinner

Arrived in Decatur late on a Monday - wandered over to 246 with coworkers for a late dinner (after 8:30pm). The place was quiet (only 2 other tables). Service was excellent. We enjoyed the wine selections and all found something enjoyable on the limited menu. While this may not be a place I'd... read more

We had a small group, after graduation dinner celebration at 246 and everything about the meal and service was satisfying from drinks to appetizers, main course and dessert. Our group chose a range of entrees and every one was deliciously prepared. We thought about getting a cake for the event, but after consulting with the restaurant in advance, we decided... More

All I can say is "WOW!!" We spent the last night of our Atlanta stay in Decatur and chose this place for dinner (after we sat at Iberian Pig for 20 minutes without getting served). The outside seating are in the back is great for laid-back dining. The bread was superb, crunchy on the outside and perfectly moist and chewy... More

There is a pretty fantastic menu here, but the 2 times I've been there I've gotten spaghetti and meatballs because they prepare it perfectly. The meatballs are flavorful and tender, the pasta is perfectly al dente, and the sauce is a delight. I visit Decatur often and absolutely love this place. I know eventually I'll have to spread out on... More

Went to dinner there on a Sunday. Shared the chicken scallopine with taglienti pasta. The dinner was delicious. They were very accomodating on making a dish which wasn't on the menu. Our service was great and the restaurant is very open and comfortable. I wish that the menu had more protein dishes on it. It had a great selection of... More

Went for an early dinner with friends for the first time at No. 246. The food was phenomenal, we had stuffed mushrooms and a cheese plate for appetizers which was well presented and had some interesting additions such as picked okra and beetroot mustard seeds. The bread that came with the cheese plate and before dinner was super fresh and... More

Ordered the greek pizza and it was GREAT and it was so better than the standards. Loved the open fire grill and stone kitchen design throughout the restaurant! Would go... More

Brought some out of town guests to no. 246 to celebrate a friend's birthday and the staff was wonderful. The menu will change from day-to-day, but there is always a selection of pasta dishes, several pizzas and then a half-dozen or so other entrees to choose from. If you make reservations several days/weeks ahead of time, based on the online... More

We went out to eat with a group of friends on a Saturday night, with reservations, and had a great experience at 246. It is hard to find both great food and service in the same restaurant, but they pulled it off very well Food choices were not vast, but put a great spin on traditional items, and came off... More

Had a weekday business lunch with three colleagues. They'd all been before and recommended this establishment. In short, excellent food, attentive staff and not-at-all painful prices! Fresh salads, just created soups, well crafted sandwiches, innovative sides... Definitely going back next time!
