For Seafood Lovers

If you love fresh seafood you will love Skippers. The Georgia shrimp is delicious! They also make a mean margarita and the service is great. Truly enjoyed eating out on the deck enjoying great food while taking in the great view.

Located on left side after crossing bridge into Darien. Located between bridge and condos but still a nice view. We ate once in the dining room and once on the deck in the bar. Food is very good. I always eat wild Georgia shrimp whenever I am on the Georgia coast.

Stopped here for lunch in midst of a road trip south. Great food, great service and terrific view of the Darien River and fishing boats. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Quaint establishment in the small town of Darien GA where the industry is shrimping. It's on the water which is a plus. There is a Oyster Bar and Grill which I did not try. I was in the restaurant - probably sounds confusing!! Outdoor seating and upper deck seating is available. Less than 20 miles from Brunswick. I had a... More

If you like Wild Georgia Shrimp this place does it right. On the water with a dock where you can walk out and see a real shrimp boat. Outside dining. Overall a very pleasant experience e.

Expect huge portions of food. Started out with the Buffalo gator bites and a crabcake. Big mistake. I was so full that I could hardly eat my Captain's platter that consisted of fried grouper, oysters, shrimp, calamari, and hush puppies and 4 HUGE onion rings. I was so full that I wanted to go to the ER and have my... More

When I travel from my home in Texas to the Brunswick/Darien area to see family, Skipper's is always on my agenda. We in the Lone Star State don't lack for good seafood, but when I need a true fix of saltwater victuals, I'm heading to Skipper's!

Excellent food and service! The crispy flounder was just that. Got the flounder with fried shrimp combo and split with my husband and there was plenty for both of us. I ordered the sweet potato soufflé, Mac n cheese and collard greens on side and wanted to lick bowls. With tip, around $40. Others had shrimp and grits, though not... More

First suggestion, drive past all the food choices near the interstate and take the short drive into town. Great menu and atmosphere. Even though I was by myself, I could see this being a great stop for families because of the water views and turtles in the small pond at the entrance. Enjoyed the fried grouper sandwich with a side... More

While staying at the Waterfront Inn, I was able to meander on down to Skippers Fish Camp. I was alone and sat at the bar to have a few cocktails and then something to eat. I was absolutely amazed at how fresh the raw oysters were personally shucked by the bartender. I continued to have some of their fried shrimp.... More
