We stopped here passing through town and it was a great find. The food was good and it felt like a genuine local restaurant. There are some boardwalks right outside the restaurant where you can see the local fishing boats on the river and we also saw an alligator.

The food was delicious, our server was friendly and nice and so was everyone else we encountered. The views and location are also perfect!

Lovely location, excellent friendly staff. We are not that keen on seafood but the alternatives were excellent. Ate there 2 nights on the trot and both meals were superb. 1 night I left too full having over indulged on the meat and ribs. Thoroughly recommend and the Georgia Brown Ale is pretty decent (not sure about drinking out of jamjars... More

I had dinner for the third time last night at Skippers. We selected the Restaurant side since we wanted a full meal. I have eaten at the raw bar which is good, but for the full menu go to other side. I had the blacken Scallops and my colleague had the Mahi-Mahi. The scallops were delicious and the blackening was... More

The peel n' eat spicy shrimp was delicious and fresh. Prices are shamelessly high, especially for the small lovely town of Darien. The view was worth it, though. I'd recommend come to enjoy the view with drinks and appetizers. That would be a good amt of food without maxing out your spending potential unnecessarily.

Absolutely delicious food, both shrimp and steak were excellent. Service was a bit slow. Atmosphere was fun. Music seemed like it should be a little more Jimmy Buffet-ish,

My family and I were traveling home from our vacation in Hilton Head and Charleston on I-95. Checked on TripAdvisor for a place to eat. This place was rated between 4-5 stars. Looked like a kid friendly, casual kind of place. We thought it was perfect. Great casual waterfront ambiance, good service and delicious food. We ordered two orders of gator... More

My husband and I shared the Captain's Platter. It came with oysters, catch of the day, shrimp, calamari, 3 huge scallops, 2 hushpuppies, and 2 sides of of your choice. That was a whole heapful of food. The scallops was so juicy and delish. The oysters just melted in your mouth. It was a great experience.

After countless trips up and down I-95 through Georgia and seeing the signs for Skipper's Fish Camp off Exit 49, we decided to give it a try tonight on our way back to Savannah. Have to say it was a pleasant surprise, not gourmet by any means, but solid and a good value. Kind of what you'd expect from the... More
