Dimly Lit, Rustic Charm, Romantic and Historic all in one!

The Dalton Depot has a rustic feel complete with views of railroad tracks and train engines. Inside the atmosphere is dimly lit. It smells a bit old inside, but that is part of the buildings historic nature. Kids will enjoy the toy train exhibits at the entrance as well as the way it maneuvers... read more

Excellent staff and wonderful food. Very quite in the downtown area and only took minutes to get to from the hotel. Worth the five minute drive.

There is a lot of hype about this place. The food never was really great . It was more a night place to drink .Just be sure and get a designated driver to take you home.

Great train atmosphere with the opportunity to see trains pass right by your table. Food was slow to come out but wait staff was very friendly. Madison was a joy to talk to! Recommend the cheese sticks and fried green tomatoes which were excellent! I had the ribs which also were very good! Party of four and everyone was happy... More

This awesome historical establishment and their joyfully intelligent and very efficient employees guided my brother and I through a history lesson of Dalton Depot and how the town measured its boundaries right in the foyer of the restaurant. (if you werent a history buff back in your day and feel the need to catch up) this is a small step... More

Good food and atmosphere. Ate there twice during a 2 day stay in Dalton. Lunch one day and dinner the next. Food and service was good. The converted railroad station has interesting history dating back to the American Civil War. Defiantly worth a visit. We will go back next time we are in Dalton.

So after looking at the menu on the Tripadvisor page I exited the interstate and drove 3.5 miles out of my way in heavy traffic to have the Veal Picatta. When I arrived at the hostess stand there was no hostess in sight, after a few minutes I ventured into the dining and there she was. Once seated and looking... More

The Dalton Depot was a railroad depot building that has been converted into a restaurant. It is right beside active railroad tracks which adds to it ambiance. It features excellent meals and Sunday brunch. The food is well prepared and presented. Service is very good. Lots of families and friend come for lunch or dinner. At the opposite end of the... More
