service very pleasant, food OK, promixity to trains wonderful

If you like trains, this is the place! When the Norfolk Southern freights come through the whole place trembles. For a rail fan, a must. The only main dish I could find other than burgers was roadrunner stew. It is served with an egg shaped fried mashed potato. The stew looked gray, but it... read more

This place could be so much more...very poorly run. It took 45 minutes to get our lunch...we almost missed a connection back to Atlanta. We had to rush through our meal...meaning it was unmemorable. The waitresses were poorly trained and distracted.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere is nostalgic, eclectic, and fun. Nice place but also a bit expensive so maybe not an every week restaurant, but perfect for special occasions.

Spent 2 nites in Dalton and ate here both times. If you're a railfan you'll find it interesting when the freights go by.

If you're looking for a great variety of homemade food you found it. The salad dressings are great and the biscuits are unique and a must have. Located in an old train Depot the setting is just right for a casual dinner.

We loved almost all the food we ordered. My family of 7 ate for s decent price and really enjoyed a late lunch. We're going to try stopping again on our way home.

Excellent staff and wonderful food. Very quite in the downtown area and only took minutes to get to from the hotel. Worth the five minute drive.

The Dalton Depot has a rustic feel complete with views of railroad tracks and train engines. Inside the atmosphere is dimly lit. It smells a bit old inside, but that is part of the buildings historic nature. Kids will enjoy the toy train exhibits at the entrance as well as the way it maneuvers itself around the rafters of the... More

There is a lot of hype about this place. The food never was really great . It was more a night place to drink .Just be sure and get a designated driver to take you home.
