The Hickory Hut has been family owned and operated since 1965. The pride of three generations goes into everything we do. Nothing fancy here, just good food at a fair price. "No phone. No sign. Open at eleven. Closed at nine."

This is a classic example of BBQ that HAS to have sauce on it. It is so dry you would choke if you didn't sauce it. Unfortunately the residents of Dallas do not have a choice because all the BBQ joints around here are not very good. People have grown up eating this stuff because they don't know any better.

My family and some friends just had lunch at the Hickory Hut in Dallas, GA. It was definitely a Southern experience. I wasn't sure what to do so I asked others around me who were in line. These wonderfully friendly people told me what to do and assured me the food was well worth the wait. Were they ever correct! The Hickory Hut in Dallas GA is probably one of the best kept secrets among locals. The BBQ is smoked on site and permeates the air with it's savory flavor. Their menu is simple but complete next time you are in Dallas their BBQ must be on the top of your list!

Wife had BBQ sandwich, I had BBQ plate, pork was overcooked and very very dry, brunswick stew tasted like an old sock, worst BBQ I ever made the mistake of eating, dirty seedy place also disgusting.

I have been going to the Hickory Hut (or as people who have lived in Dallas, GA for some time, like myself, like to call it: The Hickory House) for a while. It never gets old, EVER. I love it. Especially their Chili Burgers. My mouth is watering just telling you about it. Amazing family-owned business.

OK. You won't be knocked out by the curb appeal. But -- if you're looking for serious 'Cue and the BEST fried pies in West Georgia, check out the Hickory Hut. It's across the road from the Paulding County Hospital on "Old" 120...

I have been eating at this place for about 40 years. I moved away from the area about 20 years ago but stopped in a few days ago. The place looked exactly like it did when I was a kid and the food was exactly the same. Everything is excellent!

Love this place, It is a old place, pretty much a hole in the wall place, but it is clean, and food is great. Great customer service...
