Just OK

I've eaten At Piazza over the years on a few different occasions, like some other reviewers have stated I feel it has gone down over the years. My family and I have eaten at Piazzas many times over the years since they first opened. We used to love bringing out of town visitors to this hidden gem. But it seems as if each time we go they've made more changes. The architectural changes have been for the better. The menus changes for the worse. They've degenerated from... More

Food was good but the waitress was too busy talking to the guys at another table. Tha atmosphere was decent but felt smothered die to too little room.

The wife and I had business in town today and decided to stop in for lunch. Most of the time you can't buy a parking space in that area. Today was different. We were promptly seated and noticed there were only two other couples there at 1:30pm. We ordered sweet tea with no ice (very cold outside). We wanted the... More

We have visited Piazza many times over the years during our North Georgia mountain trips and it appears each year we visit the menu has changed. Every time we find a new favorite... next visit it disappears from the menu. On this visit we decided to eat at the adjoining restaurant which when we last visited was a steak house...... More

Dined here on a recent after-Christmas shopping excursion. We ordered the eggplant parmesan with spaghetti marinara and a Caesar salad. Bread was fresh baked and served with a delicious olive oil based dipping sauce. House white wine was acceptable. Eggplant preparation was much like we experienced during our stay in Varenna, Italy so cuisine closely follows traditional Italian cooking. Taste... More

Good quality and portions. Pizza crust very nice. Calzone and salads also very good. Located near town square. Cathy our server very good, attentive to our every whim. Nice late lunch and ambiance.

Piazza still has the best Calamari! Piazza changed their Calamari slightly. Instead of laying the perfectly cooked Calamari on a layer of marinara sauce and then placing a ribbon of lemon aioli on top of the Calamari perfectly; the marinara is in a separate ramekin and the lemon aioli lazily sputtered on top. But the Calamari is still the best... More

Ate here with family on Nov 28, 2014. We were seated almost immediately and food and drink orders were taken. Drinks came out quickly. At the 30 min mark two members of our party received their food. After almost 45 min salads arrived but still no entrees. We were given many excuses like this was a busy day to saying... More

This small restaurant shares an entrance with a burger place and features wooden booths and tables that belie the quality of the food. We have had lasagna, spinach ravioli, veal dishes, etc. and all have come well prepared and worth the money. Decent wine list and beers add flavor. Bread is served with oil and balsamic vinegar, just a little... More
