This visit, just the two of us for a glass of wine and a snack. Mussels, fantastic bread, shared pasta, fresh salad and a glass of wine. Fantastico! Earlier visits for a full meal was also very good! Try the egg plant Excellent!

We visited Dhalonega, this past weekend and my little one wanted spaghetti and meatballs. Piazza, looked like the place to go........................only I wish we hadn't. Extremely long wait for drinks. My glass of wine came out in a dirty glass. Replacement took another 10 minutes. My Daughter's milk arrived about 10 minutes after the wine. Were told that we would... With all of the restaurants to eat at here in Dahlonega, don't waste your time or money here. We have eaten at Piazza many times over the years and this time we got quite a surprise. Not busy at all when we walked in. Hostess never greeted us and gave me a look when I finally told her we would... More

Sunday at 5PM I took my family to Piazza as we were going through Dahlonega. We were seated quickly and the restaurant looked cool. Nicely done with tasteful decorations that were casual but classy. Then it went down hill fast. Now much of this was due to a new server (her first week) who meant well but completely screwed up... More

We have eaten at this Italian pizzeria in the past and enjoyed it. Dahlonega is such a quaint relaxing town to visit, but chaos reigned tonight instead! Many customers sat waiting- at least 5 tables with customers- who had no food, no napkins, no eating utensils. Several groups got up from their tables and wisely left. Apparently, no managers were... The staff were running around, the good waitresses were stressed and overworked trying to compensate for the apparently new and overwhelmed waitresses. The food took forever, we were there for 2 hours just trying to get our meal. It's hot because of the pizza ovens and the food was mediocrae. People on the way out were warning the people waiting... I don't mean with activity and outstanding food! It is blooming hot! The staff knows that when customers walk out! Waitresses are very nice and apologetic for the SLOW service from kitchen. One table waited over 30 minutes for a pizza. We order brochetta and it took about the same time. Will not be back unless it is Wintet!

This restaurant missed the mark on so many levels. We came for lunch later in the afternoon so it was not crowded and yet we had to wait too long for water and for silverware. My neice ordered one of their standard pizzas but asked to add bacon and mushrooms. When it arrived it appeared to be missing the these... More

My husband and I live about an hour from Dahlonega. We occasionally drive up to browse the antique shops and have lunch. Yesterday, we decided to eat at Piazza. We had bruschetta as an appetizer. It was mix and match of three choices two of the three were terrible. I had a salad that came with a raspberry vinegrette dressing.... More

My husband and I had dinner here on 8/14. He had the Fruti de mar and I had Chicken Fettucine. My husband absolutely loved his dish and the alfredo sauce in mine was the best I have ever had! Our server was on top of things, full of confidence and knew what she was doing. We have decided it would... More
