Although eating on the balcony and enjoying the square, the food was quite average . I ordered the Dirty Shrimp and my sister ordered the Shrimp and Grits. Both were bland in taste and no imagination. Not Creole food for sure! I also ordered a martini that was served in a plastic martini glass! The service was very good, I... More

We ordered the Jambalaya. It was unique and tasty. The crawfish dip was also very good. Eating dinner on the balcony was nice to see the small town. I ordered a Hurricane but is was not good and served in a pilsner glass.

This place is nestled in the quaint town of Dahlanega, GA which is steeped in all types of history. The menu had a very good variety of food on it from appetizers and salads, to burgers and many different types of seafood. They fashion themselves (their theme is) after Bourbon Street out of New Orleans, LA. We had the Crafish... More

Excellent New Orleans Cooking in the Middle of a Small Town in Georgia! Outside of New Orleans itself, this was the best New Orleans cooking we have ever found, with very reasonable prices. We had the crawfish dip which was amazing, gumbo had wonderful flavor, and the jambalaya was spicy and flavorful - even the mild one. Service was friendly... More

My husband an I stopped in here on the way home from the mountains. I already knew it was pet friendly from seeing dogs on their deck on other occasions and from looking online. It was a beautiful sunshiny day and the deck is on the back with tables with umbrellas. On this day there was more shade than sun... More

Food and drinks are good with relatively prompt service. Seating outdoors on the upstairs porch overlooking the square or on the back deck often with live music. Word of warning, back deck is very sunny and temps can be quite warm (despite the nice addition of fans) during the warm months. Gator bites and New Orleans fare are a unique... More

We ate here last night, and it was just okay. Sat in the balcony, and that was awesome. Nice night and overlooking the little square was cool. Started with chicken wings and they were yuck. Tasted frozen not fresh and sauce was wayyyyyyyy too much and not tasty. I had to use napkins to wipe all the sauce off. I... More

I've lived in or near Dahlonega since 2010 and this is one of my favorite restaurants in northern Georgia. I've eaten here dozens of times and I've never had a bad meal. The service is always friendly and excellent. This is one of the few restaurants that offers a true brunch menu every Sat & Sun that actually lasts until... More

After canoeing with our families down the Chestatee River, we wanted to find a spot for a few beers and appetizers (and drinks and snacks for the kids) and found this nice place. While the indoor seating looks inviting, we sat out on the porch (front of the building). There is also seating on a deck in the back. We... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. It's a very small restaurant on the 2nd floor on the square. The gumbo fries are amazing! I had a shrimp po boy that was very good, and my husband had the shrimp and grits. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a meal that is a little different that... More
