Being from the New Orleans area now living up in north Georgia I was excited to see this quaint restaurant and couldn't wait to try it. Boy was I disappointed. Servers were okay, drinks okay, food was terrible. Even if it doesn't come close to being NOLA original cuisine... It's not even good. Sorry I won't be visiting again.

small portion, food average but forgettable. Could be great but they seem to be content serving average fare.

We each had the special. Mushroom soup and salad. The soup was awesome. Get an order of bread for dipping. We sat outside in the back deck and had the place to ourselves. What a great day!

Staff was very good , drinks were good, venue was very pleasant. Food was awful, everything was so over cooked I thought they might have been trying to kill something. How and why would you cook cornbread until it had the consistency of a brick? Too bad but definitely back to school for this kitchen staff. Wait staff is fine.

We were in Dahlonega and wanted a good meal for the evening. Decided to try Bourbon Street Grill and we were well pleased. We didn't have to wait long because I had called ahead and made a reservation and the hostess was so good to us and seated us quick. I've had shrimp and grits at several different places and... More

Had lunch at the Bourbon Street Grill in Dahlonega and really enjoyed the food. Ate on the back deck (there is an upstairs in doors dining area also, that includes an outdoor balcony overlooking the Square. The menu is rich with New Orleans favorites. My wife had excellent shrimp and grits and I went for shrimp jambalaya, which was also... More

We followed our nose upstairs in the historic Hall House Hotel to Bourbon Street Grille. The hostess was extremely pleasant and advised there was a brief wait for a table on the balcony. She agreed to call me when the table was almost ready which allowed us to browse in the gallery downstairs and some adjacent shops. After a few... More

The upstairs restaurant is quaint and the food is really good. It's authentic New Orleans style food..the hamburger steak with mushroom gravy was delicious with rice and red beans.

Pleasantly surprised considering that there is another oyster bar across the street. The oysters were fresh and the crab cakes mostly meat. The bloody marys were good too. Dining on the balcony was a plus although a bit chilly (they offer blankets) I'll come back!

While this is a small restaurant their meals pack a lot of flavor. I had the muffaletta with a crab cake appetizer. This was within walking distance and in the center of the antique shopping. I would gladly eat their food again, but would be fine with taking the food to-go and having a picnic in the nearby park to... More
