We happened upon this place while walking around Dahlonega and were pleasantly surprised! We were seated on the veranda with a lovely view of the town. The atmosphere was great and the waitress was very friendly. I had the fish tacos, my husband had the shrimp and grits, and my daughter had the blackened chicken sandwich. We also had the... More

Decided to stopped after smelling the amazing aroma. Service was terrific, waitress was very intentive. Our party of four all had different menu items, and all were cometelely outstanding. From the dirty shrimp (to die for) to the muffalatta (so juicy and perfect). Try the veranda.

I have eaten here a number of times over the past years. The food is usually very good. Dishes are loosely based on traditional New Orleans cuisine with a nouveau twist . My son-in-law the chef loves this place. I really enjoy their brunch most of all sitting on the upstairs veranda sipping a libation and eating shrimp and grits.

As a family we enjoyed the Angus burger, fish tacos and shrimp and grits. The price was reasonable but the shrimp and grits was a smaller portion than expected. They do offer a $5 kids menu and give you about 5 choices: buttered noodles, chicken fingers, etc. This price does not include the kids drink. So, if you purchase a... More

I'm thinking Bourbon Street in Dahlonega?? we were a party of 4 & when i realized they had been there before i kinda relaxed...we love NOLA & go several times a year so very familiar with Cajun & Creole Cuisine.. it's nothing fancy & a weird setup...But the food was good & did not disappoint!! I didn't hear any complaints... More

Came for lunch with my parents. This was my first time to eat here. We decided to eat inside and it was very pleasant. Nicely decorated with some local artwork (that was for sale and way over priced, IMO). Also pet friendly, if you sit on the back porch. Which is very nice if you brought your pooch to Dahlonega... We stopped in for a glass of wine and sat outside. The tables, menus, silverware were dirty. I pointed out the dirty knives to our waitress, she stared at me and left them on the table. She circled around 10 times, so it was hard to enjoy our drinks. We left without eating.

I've eaten on occasion in Dahlonega but until now hadn't discovered Bourbon Street Grille. It is on the second floor of an older building on the square and it has a balcony! The balcony is narrow and won't seat many but the entertainment aspect from people watching is great. Lunch was simple--a BLT made with a flour tortilla and carrot... More

I've seen this place before and finally decided to give it a try. It was a good meal. I had crab cakes and shrimp. The plate was plentiful and well presented. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative comment that comes to mind was that the food temperature was a little on the cool side. In any event,... More

This was the 3rd different order that I tried. If you are expecting New Orleans food, forget it! I tried the Gumbo, Jambalaya and most recently, the Muffalatta. If you really HAVE ever been to New Orleans, you know that Muffalattas do NOT come on French bread! They come on Kaiser rolls, or at the very least some type of... More
