We stopped in for a glass of wine and sat outside. The tables, menus, silverware were dirty. I pointed out the dirty knives to our waitress, she stared at me and left them on the table. She circled around 10 times, so it was hard to enjoy our drinks. We left without eating.

I've eaten on occasion in Dahlonega but until now hadn't discovered Bourbon Street Grille. It is on the second floor of an older building on the square and it has a balcony! The balcony is narrow and won't seat many but the entertainment aspect from people watching is great. Lunch was simple--a BLT made with a flour tortilla and carrot... More

I've seen this place before and finally decided to give it a try. It was a good meal. I had crab cakes and shrimp. The plate was plentiful and well presented. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative comment that comes to mind was that the food temperature was a little on the cool side. In any event,... More

This was the 3rd different order that I tried. If you are expecting New Orleans food, forget it! I tried the Gumbo, Jambalaya and most recently, the Muffalatta. If you really HAVE ever been to New Orleans, you know that Muffalattas do NOT come on French bread! They come on Kaiser rolls, or at the very least some type of... More

First time that I go to this town and we made a mistake by stoping at this restaurant ... People, you can do better... No one was there to receive us... We walked around and finally we ask a lady that look like maybe she worked there... Bingo! .... She was not a happy camper and was not helpful... She... More

Went there to hear live music and enjoy a couple of drinks with friends. Atmosphere on the patio outside was good, music entertaining and hospitality and service above average. Great night,

I had the shrimp and grits. It was very good. My husband had a salad and baked jalepeno', asiago cheese and spinach oysters on half she'll. he shared one with me and they were awesome also. There was eight of us and we all enjoyed our entrees. Dirty rice with shrimp, dirty rice with tilapia, and poor boy sandwiches. Brunch... More

Visited here with a group for lunch during the week. Neat menu items, mostly seafood, but I had club sandwich. The server said the portions were huge so we split it between two people. It was great!

Great food and fun place to eat, especially out on the porch. It's upstairs in a historic building on the square in Dahlonega. The stair climb is worth the treat you'll have when you dine on one of their numerous menu items. The shrimp and grits are awesome. Po boys are excellent. It may not be New Orleans but it's... More
