Good spot

I eat lunch here for lunch a good bit. When the weather is nice the front or rear patio is awesome. The food is good everytime I go. I usually get the shrimp Po Boy but anyting I have tried here is good. If you are in the area give it a try.

The food isn't going to win any culinary awards, but it wasn't terrible. It was about what I would expect in a tourist-y little town in north Georgia. The service was super friendly.

Great location on the main square. Good service but food was average. Nothing special but pleasant enough.

Delicious little restaurant tucked away in downtown Dahlonega. Realistic Cajun cuisine that taste FANTASTIC. My go to restaurant when at home.

We had a great experience! The service was good and the ambiance was cute. The coffee was MAD strong, but we got a cup of hot water to tone it down a notch! We had the muffled omelette, sweet stream, and the same ol' thing. All were enjoyable! We ordered beignets too, and they were a nice treat. We sat... More

Everything here was phenomenal! Dinner the first night was crab dip as a starter, a crab cakes entrée and a jambalaya entrée. Everything had an authentic flair to it, and we couldn't stop eating! We enjoyed our dinner so much we went back for dessert the second night. Try the beignets, especially the ones with the Paul Thomas dark chocolate... More

The food is very good and the service is great. The building is also wonderful. If the weather permits you should sit on the balcony. The first day I had Dirty Shrimp and the second day I had Shrimp & Grits. Both were wonderful. My friends and I went for lunch and brunch. Everything we all ordered was great! I... More

I've been to this restaurant several times since it changed ownership, and it has been excellent every time. This past Sunday, we went to the brunch. Apparently, if you want to sit upstairs, you should make a reservation, as it is very popular. But if you're willing to wait until 11, the downstairs is open for walk-ins. That was fine... More

Breakfast (They call it brunch) is only on the weekends but is well worth waiting for. Many of the house specialties involve shrimp or crab but they also have fried and scrambled eggs for the traditionalists. (like me). Scrambled Egg can be perked up with many optional sides such as tomato, feta cheese, spinach, and many more.

I chose jambalaya with mild sausage. It was truly the best jambalaya I have ever eaten. The serving portion was just right also. The servers were friendly and efficient. I ate a spoonful of my daughter's gumbo and It was delicious also. I would recommend this establishment to any visitors to Dahlonega.
