We have a 1 year old and needed to eat in so got a few items for pickup to eat on the patio @ the park place hotel. The food was hot and we really enjoyed the boudin and steak with our wine from the local market.

Stopped in for Sunday brunch, being from New Orleans and craving some good down home food I had to try their "Sweet Stream" just the description brought back memories...Sauteed crawfish, trinity, tomatoes & spinach in a seasoned sauce over grilled French bread and poached eggs... Ooh La La. Their Crab cakes were also good.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal with a definite New Orleans flare. Excellent beer and drink offerings as well. Wait staff was extremely courteous and the balcony overlooking the old town square was a beautiful setting. Will definitely return.

We mainly enjoyed our food, the service was good and ambiance fine (inside). The chicken wing appetizer is really really spicy and the cheesy fries were pretty good! The burgers also good but the sea food platter was disappointing, hard to tell what was underneath what was mainly batter. About half way through (really enjoying my crab cake main) our waitress... I would like to give this restaurant a higher score but overall it was average. The service was extremely helpful and friendly. The crawfish dip appetizer was excellent. My oyster poboy, however, was not very good - small, overcooked oysters. Nothing like the oyster poboys that I've had in Louisiana. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and grits, it was a... More

We visit the Bourbon Street Grille a couple times each month. Its a great getaway place and dining on the porch is a treat. The price is right for great Jambalya and the more expensive meals are worth the cost.

Dahlonega is only an hour from Atlanta and there's lots to do there - outdoor activities, winery tours, etc. If you get hungry while you are there try the Bourbon Street Grille. The menu is mostly New Orleans inspired and the food is very good. Service was also excellent.

We tried this place for the first time and really enjoyed it. Three of us had a full breakfast, and it was very tasty, and for $7, a nice value too. Ordered a plate of beignets that were hot and fresh, and covered with powdered sugar...awesome with a cup of coffee sitting on the balcony in the shade on a... More

Although eating on the balcony and enjoying the square, the food was quite average . I ordered the Dirty Shrimp and my sister ordered the Shrimp and Grits. Both were bland in taste and no imagination. Not Creole food for sure! I also ordered a martini that was served in a plastic martini glass! The service was very good, I... More

We ordered the Jambalaya. It was unique and tasty. The crawfish dip was also very good. Eating dinner on the balcony was nice to see the small town. I ordered a Hurricane but is was not good and served in a pilsner glass.
