Fresh and delicious

Ate lunch here while in Dahlonega. Not only was the food fresh and delicious, but they were very accommodating to add or eliminate specific items from a dish.

Stopped here for dinner, had the duck salad and the pecan crusted pork chop with fig demi-glaze. Pork chop was amazingly moist and tender considering it was almost an inch and half thick. The duck confit was very good and the salad itself had a fabulous balsamic dressing with candied pecans and mandarins. The house bread served with Hawaiian salted... More

Had dinner here and it was basic. Service wasn't very good and we felt rushed by the staff. No need to return.

Our lunch stop every time when we're in Dalhonega so we have been here multiple times. Don't know what happened the 4th of July weekend but it was very basic. There was very little to chose from on the menu comparing to what I recalled. The food that day was so-so. I will be back anyway because I've had good... More

At the recommendation of our hosts at Mountain Laurel Creek Inn and Spa (amazing B&B), we decided to dine here for my birthday. The service was excellent. We enjoyed a bottle of local wine, the cheese plate, a Caesar salad, and I had the eggplant entree while my boyfriend had the ribeye. I give the Corkscrew 4/5 because of two... More

This is a visually-beautiful restaurant right next to the Holly Theater just off the main square in Dahlonaga. We ate in the outdoor area behind the restaurant. The menu is ambitious and sophisticated, but the prices are surprisingly reasonable. I enjoyed the duck, while my spouse enjoyed the salmon spread. Save room for dessert and be sure to enjoy some... We enjoyed the quaint downtown atmosphere and opted for the dining room instead of the patio seating. Service was good considering the downtown was busy. The salads were fresh, colorful and tasty. It is a place we will visit again.

This is a sweet offbeat and friendly place. And it's right in town, just 4 doors off the square. The wine selection (by the glass) is rather limited, but certainly adequate. Small town, small establishment. I've been twice, once recently, and once a year earlier. Lunch with wine. I found the menu overly fru fru, overly complicated ingredients. And nothing... More

We always eat at The Corkscrew Cafe at least once when we visit Dahlonega. The Pecan Crusted Pork Chop is too die for and there are no words to describe the Banana Chiffon Pie! Can't wait for oour next visit in October!!

We eat here frequently while visiting Dahlonega. This is a nicer restaurant. It's great for a special occasion. Excellent brunch. Outdoor seating. Good wine selection. Salads, steaks and fish are great but the creamed spinach is my favorite.
