Had dinner as couple at Corkscrew Cafe in historic downtown Dahlonega. Parking appeard to be only curbside, but was right outside and it was not a busy time of year for the town. We just did a walk in without reservations and they were readily able to accomodate us. The restaurant is small and cozy and appears to try to... More

This used to be our favorite lunch location. The menu has certainly changed since we were in college at North Georgia ten years ago, but we have always returned back to visit Corkscrew Cafe for lunch every now and then. However, our latest experience will be our last for sure. The lunch menu does not seem as good as what... More

We were going to a photography exhibit at NGCU so we stopped for dinner first. Hadn't been for awhile, but it was just as good as we remembered. They are redoing the wine list so the pickings were a little slim, but we found a lovely Chilean carmenere and enjoyed it thoroughly. We split a Caesar salad (plenty for both,... More

Visiting Dahlonega for the weekend, my husband and I decided to eat here one night for dinner. The atmosphere was very lovely and cozy. There was dim lighting and it was beautifully decorated. Our waitress was excellent...happy and helpful. We both ordered Caesar salads and Pinot Grigio and it was great. For dinner, I ordered shrimp and grits and my... More

We stopped in in the late afternoon to get appetizers and wound up filling ourselves with one of everything. They were all great, but the tuna app was amazing! Service was fantastic, too. She did a good job pairing wines and was über friendly. It's nice to feel wanted.

We have dined at Corkscrew Café on previous vacations to Georgia so we were anxious to bring our Colorado friends and try the Sunday Brunch. Our meal was outstanding, as was our server, Sydney. Sydney timed our appetizers and entrees perfectly to hit the 12:30pm threshold for champagne on Sundays. (Yes, there are blue laws here!) I could go on... More

We sat on the covered patio area and had a good bottle of wine and a great steak. The live entertainment was a fun addition to our meal and the staff were friendly.

We were hiking in the north GA mountains and stumbled on this little gem!! The food was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the wine was outstanding! They have a Bordeaux that I loved!! Can't wait to go back!
