We ate here 3 times during our stay in Dahlonega. Once outside(casual) and twice inside (more formal) both good options depending on your mood. It's not cheap around $200 for four inc. a bottle wine, shared appetizers, mains and dessert. But the food, wine and service are very good and hey you get what you pay for! Can highly recommend... My college roommate at North Georgia college in the 60's and her husband who now live in VA were in town so we went to Dahlonega for the day. We decided to eat at the Corkscrew Cafe and we loved it. I ordered an Eggplant Sandwich with a side of pasta and it was delicious. They ordered the Reuben and... More

Amazing food and Great service. We drive an hour and a half one way just to have dinner there. The filet melts in your mouth, the creamed spinach is like candy (and from someone who is NOT a creamed spinach fan, that is saying something) and my husband will eat anything they bring him because we have never had a... This is one of the "better" resturants in Dahlonega. And it's now on its third owner.. The menu hasn't changed, but the service we experienced was slow... How slow? An hour for a salad.. There was only one other table occupied for lunch when we were there... I've been enjoying this little resturant for ten years, not sure if I'll... More

Best pork chop I've ever had! Everything was great from the friendly and helpful staff and server to the wine list to the meal. Fantastic and uniquely prepared pork chop! Just a short walk to the Holly Theatre to top off the evening. Will go back.

We had a rehearsal dinner here for a wedding. The entire downstairs was reserved for us, and the evening was magical. Thanks to everyone at the Corkscrew Cafe!

It started with a friendly hostess who seated us at a romantic corner two-top table...then we were greeted with delicious garlic bread and butter, followed by spectacular French Onion Soup! I had a nice glass of red wine and they happened to carry my boyfriend's favorite beer so things were really going well. He had the "best rainbow trout ever"... More

Seating and order taken quickly as we listen to the great live music. Three of our four dinners were perfect but the 4th was not. When we told the waitress of the error, the manages came to our table with an apology and complimentary dinner for this 4th guest. We rate this establishment as excellent.

We've been going to the Corkscrew Cafe for a number of years now. It is our go to restaurant when visiting the Dahlonega area. The menu is a tried and true pleaser and their specials are always pleasant surprises. One thing I typically never order on a menu is a pork chop. However, the pork chop at the Corkscrew is... More
