The food and waitress were both very good and the prices were quite reasonable. The only issue I had was that we had to wait about 15 minutes when we first walked in before a hostess greeted us and were told there was still a 15 minute wait even though only half the place was filled. After ordering it then... More

The only server there was friendly, but overworked, the deep fryer did not work so certain menu items were off the list.

Please eat somewhere else in this quaint mountain town. This place is the worst place in town for many reasons... Food, service, owner, entertainment, etc... I wonder how it is still in business.

We were here for dinner 10 years ago and liked it. This time we came for lunch. The server, Muriella was very nice and professional. The food was very mixed. We ordered mostly vegetables. My broccoli was good. The cooked greens tasted like gherkins--over-sweetened and pickled. The mixed veggies were rubbery and tasteless--maybe from a frozen veggie bag and microwaved.... More

We like to go to the Crimson Moon on Saturdays in the summer, sit on the upstairs porch and watch the free Appalachian Jam blue grass concerts on the square. Good soups, salads, sandwiches. We've never been disappointed with the food or the view! Downstairs, live music inside the dining room, but we love the upstairs front porch, so we... More

I love sitting on the balcony watching downtown Dahlonega. That is what draws me to the Crimson Moon. I found the food to be a little better than average with limited selections. But the service is pretty good and the servers friendly. Still, that balcony overlooking Dahlonega draws me back and makes the place itself better than average.

Just popped in to grab a drink and light lunch with my teenage daughter and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was very good for a bar/café and excellent value for money, but it was Jason our server who was most memorable! He was so kind and friendly recommending places and things to do in and around Dahlonega that you... More

Since they took all the artwork down, crimson moon isn't the same at all. It's boring and uninteresting. Whoever had that bright idea to take everything down had no idea what they were doing to the best restaurant in town. Food is still good .

We tried this place with a small group, and was pleasantly surprised. Service was good, and the food was good too. Prices very reasonable. The place is old and a bit funky, and the A/C wasn't great, but overall I would recommend it.

My wife and I had lunch here recently and were very pleased by everything. The second floor porch that looks out onto Dahlonega Square was a very fun location, the service was helpful and attentive, and the BBQ pulled pork sandwich (w/ sliced pickles in the sandwich) was excellent and the prices were reasonable.
