Old School Diner!

This place has a wonderful spot in downtown Dahlonega! The sandwiches are divine and the ice cream is creamy and delicious. The price is very good and there is a variety of choices for food. Awesome local service and local shop!

The ice cream is good, and they let you taste the flavor before you purchase. The sandwich section of the restaurant closes at 4, but the Ice Cream section is open longer. There are tables to sit and eat the ice cream inside, or you can sit on benches outside.

Connie's was recommended for lunch by the front desk clerk at The Smith House. It is a cute, cozy, retro ice cream parlor/soda shop. I had a veggie panini that was Loaded with veggies, and full of flavor. I washed it down with a bottled Diet Coke. Hubby had the Dynamite Burger(chili and jalepenos), son had a grilled chicken sandwich,... More

This is a good place to get a sandwich or a dip of ice cream. It's nothing gourmet but it's decent. Very clean and friendly

Great flavors, lots & lots & lots of choices of ice cream & method of creating your treat! Popular with the NGA contingent, and also the Touristas.

Delicious sandwiches in a happy classic ice cream parlor atmosphere. A real summer spot for great eats and old fashioned ice cream parlor charm.

Stopped here on our way to take daughter to camp. The Gobbler is wonderful and the ice cream is delightful. I recommend this place to anyone.

After dinner we went for an ice cream here and must say the ice cream was really smooth and creamy. I had the strawberry cheesecake that was amazing. Being a Friday evening it was packed with college kids, though noisy they were very friendly. Great place to take the kids.

We were hot and a bit thirsty so we decided to take everyone to Connie's for some ice cream. Boy was that a good decision. It is like the old times there and the service was great. We each had cones and it tasted great. Plenty of seating for us. It was getting a little busy as we left but... More
