Great sandwiches

We originally went for ice cream but ended up eating a sandwich because we saw a great looking and smelling BLT.. There is a small seating area with a counter with a few tables. Most people come in for ice cream, which is quick and easy to access.

Average ice cream at tourist gouging prices. Floor had 20 to 25 years of dirt on it. Not sure if they sell cleaning products in Dahlonega.

Loved the selections of wonderful ice cream! The perfect place to stop on a hot summer afternoon to cool off with a sweet treat! Choose your flavors, choose your cone or enjoy a banana split!

I love ice cream so I had to try Connie's Ice Cream Parlor (twice). This small place is quaint, cozy with delicious hand scooped ice cream sundaes, waffle cones, regular cones and you can also get sandwiches. Their location is perfect!!! They are located right in the middle of the town square so after or before your sightseeing stop at... More

There was a long line to get our ice cream, and the line stayed long as we sat and ate our ice cream. Clearly, a popular place. Flavors we tried were vanilla, chocolate, supercow (love that name) and butter pecan. All were very good. The vanilla tasted of vanilla bean - great flavor. Servers were friendly and efficient.

This brings back memories of my grandma taking me to the ice cream shop when I was a kid. They have the same atmosphere and great fresh dipped ice cream, everyone is very friendly...just a great overall experience.

Have you ever been to a small town that has become a tourist trap and were disappointed? Dahlonega isn't like that. Connie's is a reason why. Good food served by genuinely nice people.

Stopped here for lunch and it was delicious! I had the Georgia peach chicken salad sandwich served with a cup of tomato basil soup and fresh fruit. The soup was very good and very hot! Nice since it was pretty chilly outside. The flavor was good and it had small chunks of tomato in it. The chicken salad was good... More

Love the sandwiches, soups and ice cream. Cute little restaurant with a local charm. It gets pretty busy on the weekends, so plan your trip accordingly!

My wife surprised me on our trip and took me to this ice cream parlor to get some ice cream! We both grabbed waffle cones, and I added an extra scoop to mine. The menu was well laid out and easy to understand. Since it is in downtown Dahlonega, we were able to enjoy our ice cream while walking around... More
