NO LONGER IN BUSINESS -- The Porter House gave way to a make your own burger style place. You figure what you want on the burger and it is made fresh for you on the spot... guess that's what happens in a college town.

This restaurant has changed names and is now a gourmet burger restaurant set up similar to Which Which, you right down your burger and what you want on it, hand it to the cashier, and it is made. It is in the same building as Piazza Italian restaurant.

We tried the Burger part of this restaurant and it was the pits. We never got what we ordered, what we did get was subpar. By the time my food arrived, my children were finished eating and ready to go, so you know how pleasant that was. The table next to us had finished their meals and were leaving before... More

I had the chicken dish. Adult kids had the fettuccini and ravioli. Husband had ravioli. The sides and sauces to all meals were incredible. They took down all the walls which is great and feels open now instead of having barriers and feeling like a small place and being closed in. Our wiater was excellent too.

We are visitors from out of town attending a bicycle expo. We met another couple for dinner. The atmosphere was good and our waitress was friendly. The food fell short though. I had the filet over sweet potatoes. It was bland at best. We also ordered the penne pasta and that was good. If I was local, I don't believe... More

My wife loved the bison burger, she said that it was the best that she ever had. My son enjoyed his steak. I had the trout and it was about average and petty uninspired. There are many good choices in beer so I can forgive the bland trout. We usually receive much better service here than we experienced this time.... More

So I'm an authentic traveler. Local wine, local fish, local produce if at all possible. Very limited selection of local wine with more than three wineries in a 15 mile radius. The onion rings as an appetizer rank...absolutely excellent. My trout, well-I'm a mame would you like it with the head on or head off kind of consumer, without the... More

This was the second terrible experience at porterhouse-the first the signature steak was full of disgusting veins, but we decided after a long while to try it again-This time we were refused acceptable seating in a booth by a "hostess" because there were only the two of us and the booth was a 4 top-well all the other booths were the...
