This place has a beer list better that the wine lists at most top line restaurants. If you want a good beer with some friends in a pub type setting, this is the place.

Someone told me this was the best food in town, but as I didn't eat at every restaurant in Dahlonega, I couldn't say. The food was pretty good, and I was really impressed they had a veggie version of their sausage dip! Seating is limited in winter, but staff was friendly enough. Only one bathroom for all users.

I like the welcome you get, and the general friendly atmosphere they foster, which results in customers interacting easily. A true pub atmosphere. The food....well, it's OK, pretty much all fattening stuff.

The food was good and service outstanding. My wife and I got the stew as and appetizer and a burger/fries and Reuben/onion rings as the entree. The Reuben was ok but the burger was great. The stew was also very good and was perfect for a cold night.

Shenanigans has an offering of traditional Irish lunch dishes, as well as some variety. My Shillelagh sandwich was an appetizing assembly of turkey, ham, bacon, and avocado. The homemade elements in sauces and sides added a component of perfection to the cuisine.

Best fish and chips (Grouper) I've ever had, including numerous locales in England and Scotland.Warm, pub atmosphere, and authentic pub food as well.

We stopped in this Irish pub to have a drink and an appetizer. Sat at the bar and had a blast! Wait staff and bartenders were great. We ordered a quesadilla with chicken and chips and salsa. The quesadilla was served with sour cream and was fabulous. The salsa was just an added touch. My drink was good, too, a... More

We've been to Shenanigans many times. Awesome little Irish pub with a local 'buzz' that lends to the experience. It's been remodeled and reopened after a fire in May 2014. Food is still great, but some of the ambiance has disappeared as they rebuilt bigger and opened the upstairs for seating. It's still great. Just recommend requesting downstairs seating, as... More

I wanted only a small meal, so all I ordered was a bowl of loaded potato soup with toasted bread on the side. It was probably the best potato soup I've ever tasted. My companion had a "Greuben" (a delicious Reuben sandwich made with grouper). Naturally, there was a Guinness on tap to complete my meal. I have my eye... More

First time dining indoors since shenanigans was remodeled. Overall was disappointed, the downstairs indoor seating consists of only hightops with stools, no chairs with backs, no comfortable seating upstairs there are tables and chairs with backs did not have waitresses available so we were asked to sit outside in the porch area. The chairs on the porch are basically uncomfortable... More
