One would think that anyone in the restaurant business would know that Friday and Saturday are the busiest times for dinner. We went on a Saturday evening and were told that since they were very busy (there were still tables available) we would have to wait 45 minutes. They wouldn't even seat us at an empty table. They told us... More

This is my first Sunday visit here. At 1:00 the restaurant was still very busy with 96% filled to capacity. Because every menu item is cooked to order I expected to wait a while for our food, so that was okay. While waiting my friend and I had a glass of house chardonnay, which was quite good but very overpriced.... More

We when looking for a restaurant in Dahlonega, GA on a Sunday evening not really knowing the area. Found Yahoola Creek Grill on Google search and decided to give it a try. Doesn't look like much from the outside. Nice comfortable dining area. The menu had a great variety of salads, sandwiches, and entrées to choose from. Our party of... More

The food was amazing and were in large portions! The service was very knowledgeable and fun to have. We have all good things to say about the crab dip, fried grouper sandwich, and the shrimp and grits. Yummy! We WILL be back!!!

My family and I had lunch here today (8-2-14), and it was the best lunch ever! We sat outside and enjoyed the nice view on a perfectly cool, not-too-hot summer day. First, we had the fried green tomato stack; which is very good with a barbecue like sauce and goat cheese. I had the Shrimp and Grits and I'm telling... More

Found Yahoola Creek Grill through TripAdvisor. Man, I'm we did. I had the pork loin and it was really, really good. My wife had the pot pie and she loved it. My son had the nuggets. He ate them up. I tried one myself. Best nuggets I've had. They were actual chicken, not chicken goo. It was a nice day,... More

The view is beautiful. The food is a different subject. I started off with a Souther Caesar salad. The salad was good til almost the end. Then I found a lettuce head stem in my salad. This piece is usually thrown away. I put aside and waited on my main course. I ordered the Tip and Shrooms. The menu says... More

The hotel I stayed in recommend this restaurant. About 1.5 miles out of town and away from the touristy restaurants in downtown Dahlonega. The menu was diverse and had many interesting choices. I had the special, Beef Stroganoff. Simple but very tasty and a good portion. Their smoked chicken noodle soup was very good. The other dishes that I saw... More

Shrimp and Grits that my wife had was fantastic. Perfect combination of shrimp, grits, Andouille sausage, cheese and spices made this a superb dish. The beef stroganoff was one of the best that I have ever had with tender chunks of beef and tasty sauce. The praline cheesecake with the pecan pie base and cheesecake topped with pralines made for...
