Had a great lunch at Baba's with some friends. I had the Kubideh Kabob, my favorite dish there, and it great! I ordered the double kabob so I could enjoy one later that night for dinner. The wait staff is very attentive and the owner will stop by several times to make sure you are having a great meal. The... More

Not only is the food always good but the owner and employees are there to make you feel welcome. I normally go alone, sit at the bar and never feel alone. The restaurant is always fill with customers so there is great ambience. While I love the Cherry Polo Chicken, sitting at the bar I get to see all the... More

the food was very good but for a neighborhood restaurant that looks like a sandwich bar with tables so close you can hear other people's conversations it was very overpriced. my food came out lukewarm as my husband's platter took longer to cook. Don't mind spending for overall good experience, this wasn't.

The food is not too expensive and it is tasty, it gets crowded easily so I would call and make a reservation for a table otherwise you will have to wait for a while. La comida no es muy cara y es deliciosa, el restaurante se llena rápido así que yo llamaría a hacer una reservación de una mesa porque... More

When I first saw this restaurant, I did not have high expectations since it shares it's location with a gas station. The inside is very nice and attractively decorated. The food and service are excellent. I have eaten here several times and will again.

Like others reviewers, when I pulled up to the service station for a lunch arranged by the President of the local Chamber of Commerce, I had serious questions. 30 seconds inside and my perception began to change. Full bar was completely unexpected even though we only had water. We had two gyro specials, a Greek cheeseburger, and the lamb gyro... More

I have only had gyro wraps and their gyro plate at this restaurant. Always good. They have really grown this business from a hole-in-the-wall to a warm cozy dining destination and they do a good business, a testimony to a winning combination in spite of a lousy location.

Who knew that an unassuming restaurant attached to a gas station would have such interesting and wonderful food. My sister and I were hesitant about going in when we arrived and discovered Baba's was attached to a gas station, but we were very hungry and decided to risk it. What a nice surprise! Apparently they have quite a few fans... More

We drove from Ellijay to Cumming to have lunch at Baba’s, then go to see Jersey Boys at the Cumming Movie Theatre at 415 Atlanta Rd. They have a matinee price for $5.25 that’s almost as good as the Dawsonville Theatre early shows of $5.00. But Dawsonville doesn’t have Baba’s! We’ve eaten here several times in spite of its location.... More

This is your classic example of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that blows you away. I was sent there by a friend at work and boy was he right. Here you get treated right...never gets my order wrong, always friendly. It's not gourmet dining...but it WILL make you glad you have taste buds.
