Nice location and facility in a 100 year-old home. Too bad the quality and selection has declined. Had higher expectations based on past Sunday Brunches here, but this has declined into a more limited Sunday Buffet with a few uninspired breakfast options and lower overall food quality (except for the fried chicken and turnip greens). They are capable of better,... More

FOSTER HOUSE The only night they are open is Friday when they have music and a country buffet for $12.95 Recently I had this buffet for the first time. It was a bargain having the buffet with music included. However the buffet was more limited than I had expected with only fried chicken and fried fish as the 2 meats.... More

Renovated house, quaint, quiet, beautiful inside. They offer coupons a lot. Hard to find, remember, it's a house. Downtown Cumming, worth the effort.

This restaurant is housed in what once was a family home. Each room provides a cosy intimate setting, where you can actually carry on a conversation. The food is home style and delicious. I had a cup of chicken and dumpling soup that was hearty and hot, and a three-vegetable entree. It was all delicious and so filling I had... More

Good place for Sunday brunch. You won;t leave hungry as it is all-you-can-eat. Desserts are always tasty.

Upon arriving at 11:58 for lunch I thought they were closed due to only two cars in the lot, they were open. My daughter and I decided on lunch she ordered a hamburger it was burned my BLT was very greasy, I think due to the fried green tomatoes on it anyway just not too good. Then there was the... More

We ate lunch there with friends. The friends raved about the fried chicken livers. I had fried chicken and it was ok. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box. My wife had squash casserole and said she couldn't find any squash. However, it tasted alright but was barely luke warm. The service was good but food delivery... More

Old home in the center of town. Feels like it is being run by a group of women friends, with everyone bustling about, even with a child in tow. Good menu with daily specials that are very filling. We had the grilled pimento cheese sandwich, the meatloaf and the apple crisp with ice cream for dessert. Not in the least... More

Always enjoy southern comfort foods and homecooked meals. If real hungry and cant wait for meal order sweet potato homemade chips - loved them as well as dessert. I try to ge smaller meals to have room for dessert and chips.

Such a shame to right a bad review about a nice little restaurant in an old house from the 1800's. No need to elaborate here, just read all the reviews already posted and you will get a sense of what is going on here. Don't bother.
