The service is always impeccable, the food is always good, the ambiance is one of the best in Cumming, they just occasionally run out of things and that would be my only complaint well that and the fact that they are not open Christmas Eve because I would love to spend my anniversary dinner there.

I've been to this restaurant before and was not very impressed. HOWEVER today was perfection! The waiter was professional, friendly , but not obtrusive. When I entered I told him I was here to help celebrate a friend's birthday. We ordered both the rainbow trout(for her) and the tilapia for me. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. Even the... More

We came to see the theatrical play of "A Christmas Carol" in the old school house upstairs so we decided to eat at the restaurant in the basement. They had everything booked because of Christmas but they found us a seat. The food was wonderful and the desert was great. We will definitely eat there the next time we come... More

I always forget how much I enjoy Tam's. I usually have tickets for the Cumming Playhouse upstairs, enjoy a great dinner with friends downstairs and it is a fun combination. I recently had family in town and I thought of Tam's because you can't go wrong with the service, the food or the atmosphere.

Food is good, gumbo is great, just right spice. Prices are a little high and sometimes it can be very noisy. Can't carry on a conversation without yelling. They need sound deading panels to absorb sound.

Tam's has never disappointed me. They have a very diverse menu and everything is very tasty. Every server we've had, every time we've gone has been excellent. I can't complain. Give it a try, I think you'll feel the same way too.

Our party had the trout, the salmon and the chicken parm. All were thrilled. Prices are reasonable. Service is great and the atmosphere is nice.

The service and food is at the top of the scale. The staff is very friendly. They watch their tables to make sure that your glass or coffee cup is always full.

We started off with everybody in the party got there salad but me and the waitress didn't come back to see if we all got our salads I had to flag her down to let her know. May I add there wasn't many people there on a Tuesday night. Then when the food came everybody got their meal but me... More

Tam's has the appearance of an upscale restaurant in what appears to be a former school. It has been very well done. The entree was exceptional--shrimp and crab stuffed flounder. The mixed vegetables were very well prepared--not over cooked with a nice assortment. The only item I would recommend improvement on is the butter--way too sweet! As wonderful as the... More
