Inside the rustic interior of this local favorite lies an upscale restaurant with delicious, albeit pricey, food. Seafood is their specialty although the menu includes everything from sandwiches to steaks. Be forewarned that you may have to wait to be seated during the dinner hour, especially on weekends.

This place is a favorite for us locals as well as the weekend lake folks, and for good reason! Great food, generous portions, friendly staff, warm atmosphere, reasonable prices. Full bar, a game room for the kids, really neato lake decor, casual dress. All of the staff are wonderful but our favorite is Alisa; she has worked there from the... More

If you are heading north of Atlanta, don't miss Norman's Landing in Cumming Norman ' s Landing is the perfect antidote to boring, faceless chain restaurants. This restaurant specializes in fish, but has many burgers, chicken and vegetable items on the menu. The server brings you a basket of cornbread and rolls after you order your meal. The bread is... I especially like to go to lunch at Norman's Landing as you get very good food and a lot of it. The service is always good.

I was looking for a place to grab a meal before seeing a movie across the street with my mother, and the packed parking lot at noon was enough to convince me to try it. We were seated immediately and the waitstaff was fantastic throughout the whole meal. If you want cornbread and rolls they are provided without any extra... More

This place offers the freshest seafood in the area- period. My wife and I have eaten here many times and each time the seafood is excellent. The service is usually excellent as well- with a staff that has been there a long time (a good thing). While I can't say that service is always perfect- it is almost always attentive,... More

Norman's Landing is my favorite seafood restaurant in metro Atlanta. Bill Norman is a stickler for fresh seafood and I have never had better, fresher grouper than at his restaurant. The service is warm and friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and the food delicious. I love the rolls and cornbread, fried okra and baked sweet potatoes. Oysters on the half shell... More

The food was very good and arrived quickly but the service was really what made us want to come back. Drink refills came quickly, we were asked several times if we needed anything and the check arrived quickly. If we are in the area again, we will be back.

Looking at the list of best restaurants in the Cumming area it appears that most of the highly rated ones are new. Not so with Norman's Landing. It has been here since 1995 and with that kind of longevity it has to have a lot of loyal repeat customers. After dining here today I can see why. Good service, good... More

We usually eat lunch here because the prices are much higher for dinner. They have delicious lobster rolls at lunchtime, which are not exactly like New England lobster rolls but are just lobster meat on a hot dog bun with drawn butter on the side. It is a lot of just lobster meat and is delicious. The almond crusted trout... More
