Fresh seafood southern style

This restaurant has bee around many years and locally owned. I've been here many times for lunch and each time is good food with great experience. Last Friday I went with a colleague and we ordered friend catfish and beef ribs. Excellently prepared and huge serving. Very tasty and fresh. Beef ribs... read more

I had driven past Norman's Landing several times but never eaten there - it looked like a "meat & three" place with a fishing theme. So when a local colleague suggested this for a business lunch, I was somewhat hesitant. Then, I read the reviews prior to going. I'm watching what I eat and wanted to check out reviews and... More

Norman's have been a part of the explosive growth of South Forsyth County since - will since before the growth. Service is very very good. The food is prepared well and pleasantly served. The menu selection will meet any and all taste needs. Thursday night prime rib night is absolutely to be considered if prime rib is a favorite.

Let's first say we love Norman's Landing and that usually the food and service is consistently good to great. But, the last two times we've been there... not so good. I won't comment much on the previous not-so-hot visit, as all I really remember is that the grouper I had was less than good... overly greasy and more batter than... More

My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary and was truly let down my the staff and food. I ordered blackened grilled scallops and they were so salty that I had to scrape off all the seasoning from both sides and was thirsty all night long. My husband got prime rib and enjoyed it, but the sides were... More

We were greeted at the door by perhaps the owner, who stopped by the table later to see how we were doing. Norman must be quite a fisherman, based on the stuffed fish or replicas thereof lining the walls, along with old outboard motors, an Atlanta Olympics banner, and other memorabilia. It's certainly interesting inside. The food is good, and... More

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Norman's Landing. We ordered an appetizer of oysters, and for our main entrees, steak and ribs. Everything was delicious, cooked expertly and served quickly. Portions are generous. What I like the most about this restaurant is that the food is consistently good. I have never ordered anything off of their menu that was not... More

Inside the rustic interior of this local favorite lies an upscale restaurant with delicious, albeit pricey, food. Seafood is their specialty although the menu includes everything from sandwiches to steaks. Be forewarned that you may have to wait to be seated during the dinner hour, especially on weekends.

This place is a favorite for us locals as well as the weekend lake folks, and for good reason! Great food, generous portions, friendly staff, warm atmosphere, reasonable prices. Full bar, a game room for the kids, really neato lake decor, casual dress. All of the staff are wonderful but our favorite is Alisa; she has worked there from the... More

If you are heading north of Atlanta, don't miss Norman's Landing in Cumming Norman ' s Landing is the perfect antidote to boring, faceless chain restaurants. This restaurant specializes in fish, but has many burgers, chicken and vegetable items on the menu. The server brings you a basket of cornbread and rolls after you order your meal. The bread is...
