I went to Jim ‘N Nicks to treat my son for a light birthday dinner since he has been raving about this place for years. Surprisingly, we were seated very fast and our server Christopher was very nice and helpful with the order. Both my son and I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich with a side of onion rings and... More

I went to the restaurant for a late lunch with several family members. I had a pulled pork sandwich that was very good. The waiter didn't seem to want to wait on us, though. Maybe he was having a bad day or maybe this was his first day on the job, but he didn't seem to be on top of... More

This is the first negative foods review I have ever posted. So I don't post this lightly. I never thought I would have ribs that I wouldn't like. I couldn't eat the spare ribs. Parts were tougher than beef jerky, and they were over smoked. I can forgive a cook a bad day or batch. However, I will call you... More

I have eaten at other Jim and Nick's locations, all have been above average for food consistency, and service. The Cumming Ga location fits their business model to a T. I ordered ribs because someone at the next table had them, and they just looked awesome! Lots of meat on the bones and so tender. Seasoned just right for me.... More

We went here for our second anniversary dinner and drove over an hour to get here. Service was almost non existent. We ordered, and was charged for food we never received. I ate ice waiting forever to get a water refill. Then we get a bill, but not our bill. Very similar, though. Waitress snatches it out of my hand... More

Let me start by saying I eat a lot of bbq. I love it. My blood pressure and gut will prove it. My job takes me on the road so i have a unique opportunity to eat at a lot of different bbq joints. I have eaten at over a hundred different spots in the past two years and Jim... More

Was seated quickly, friendly quick service, awesome food, as usual; the restroom was a little messy but otherwise it was a perfect visit.

Jim and Nick's place is always crowded so thought at last we might have a good BBQ place in Atlanta. But guess not. Service and staff is very good. We had ordered Baby back ribs and Fried cat fish. Fried catch was good, nicely seasoned and well fired. Ribs were really dry, we told the server and he got another... More

My wife and I stopped at this wonderful establishment by accident on way to Atlanta airport and could not have been more pleased. Extensive menu , Some of the best BBQ we ever had along with excellent service. The building is large and a real nice atmosphere. Portions are quite generous. Great onion rings and BBQ sauce. My only regret... More

Great BBQ! I had the Classic Pork sandwich. The meat had a great smokey flavor and tha Habanero BBQ sauce had just the right amount of spice. Fries were excellent. Did I mention the cheese biscuits/muffins the serve before the meal. Very tasty. The service was outstanding. Just the right amount of friendly without being overbearing. I will be eating... More
