Arrived at 5:30. They open at 5. Most of good was not out because they wait until guests arrive. Food that was out on steam table had dated Saran Wrap covers of 8-3-14. It is the 8th. Got shrimp off the wilted salad bar and it was rotten. I can't get the smell off my fingers from peeling it. We... More

So my family on Saturday before fathers day told us that we ware going to a fine seafood buttet with good reviews.I was shocked to be reading a review from only one day before me how happy they were that they found it to be wonderful. As I sit here to tell the world of my experience my tummy is... More

My husband and I took my father here today for an early Father's Day lunch and it was every bit as good as the first time we discovered it 4 years ago.(It was my mom's favorite place too) Each year my father wants to eat here. It is an all you can eat buffet with fish, shrimp, scallops, deviled crab,... More

For the quality, the seafood buffet is overpriced. For the quantity you can get, it's dirt cheap. But, all-you-can-eat may be a thing of the past. The last time we were there, a sign at the hostess station said your dining experience was limited to 90 minutes! That should tell you something about the place. It's a very old, cleanliness-challenged... More

Dirty restaurant, fair service, disappointing seafood. We really wanted to like it. Based on positive Southern Living review, we drove 7 miles off interstate to find best seafood off I-95-ga. Surely not. We are mountain folk and can only hope there is better seafood as we head south. And reviews that are on target as we love great food. We... More

This place was terrible! We had friends eat there "years" ago and recommended it. Something must have changed since then because the buffet was horrible. I don't know what pictures they put on the website, but they were not of the place we were in! The food looked disgusting and we continued to search for all the seafood offered on... More

I had never been to this restaurant. My husband, many years ago. I can tell you, it is NOT worth the price!! The restaurant is rustic, which is okay. However, I could not overlook the dirt & underlying grime. They did not have anywhere near 30 items on the salad bar, as advertised on their website. We had a young... More

Pelican Point has been around for years and you feel like you are stepping back in time by going there. No frills about it. It is off the beaten track, there is a huge buffet with almost anything you want and the view of the water is great. Service and food are nothing spectacular, but get the job done.

This was not the first trip I have taken to the restaurant--not my choice. The place is very old & I would not have a problem with it if they would renovate or at least buy new equipment. You can see things boarded up. Now as far as the food is is your typical buffet with more than seafood. However... More
