We have eaten breakfast and lunch here many times. Breakfast is good with lots of choices. They have a different lunch special every day and all that we have tried has been excellent. The 50's diner decor is a welcome change. If you are in the Cornelia area and need a place to eat, don't pass up Fenders Diner.

If you are looking for a very good place to have lunch I very highly recommend Fenders Diner. The food was very good, the portions were large, the service was very good. We got there about 12:15 and the place was almost full, but we were shown a seat right away. The place stayed full all through our meal, and our... More

I am a local and eat here at least once every month or so. I highly recommend the sweet potato soufflé (Thanksgiving in a bowl!), Watergate salad (featured in Southern Living's cookbook Off the Eaten Path) and turkey and dressing! My best advice; get there early! They close at 8 during the week and 9 on Saturdays.

We ate here on our way to Highlands. The food was good. I had a county fried steak sandwich and fries that were quite good. My wife had a club sandwich that she enjoyed. The only down thing was once our food and check were delivered, our server never came back to the table to check on our food, fill... More

If you are looking for a clean place, with good food, and a great staff, then Fenders is the place to go. The food is always great and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are always there and take a lot of pride in making Fenders a place that you will want to return to. They appreciate their customers... More

Good home made diner food and friendly accommodating staff. We showed up at their switch from breakfast to lunch, they are closed during change over, and they let us in for coffee and a slice of pie while we waited for a home inspection to wrap up. Just really nice people and yummy pie. We ended up staying for lunch... More

Overall, it is worth a stop here to experience the place but the food isn't anything spectacular. The ambiance and decor is incredible, very much a step back in time to a real 50s style diner. I loved that part. The menu wasn't incredibly deep, but there were a few interesting options. I was a bit disappointed with the hamburger... More

We have eaten twice at Fender's -both times the place was packed for lunch but the service is friendly and speedy. You can expect inexpensive generous servings of tasty food that is well prepared-in addition to typical hamburgers, sandwiches, milkshakes and floats that you would expect at a 50's themed diner you can get homestyle daily specials that will not disappoint...
