Amazing place!

We visited this restaurant for lunch a couple of weeks ago. It's an amazing, authentic diner, with very friendly staff, great food and wonderful atmosphere. There's lots of choice on the menu, including traditional Southern dishes. Looking forward to returning soon!

I am disabled and can't go to restaurants very often, so my sister treated me to salads two weeks in a row! The Teardrop Taco salad is tasty with the giant taco shell in a teardrop shape filled with crisp veggies, abundant guacamole and sour cream, with taco meat. Yum! The next week I tried a Chef Salad. It had... More

Today, we tried Fenders for Breakfast with a group of 18 folks. They did an excellent job getting us all together, and then feeding our group. Food was hot, tasty and very reasonable. Folks here are very friendly so it just is a good place to grab a meal if you are in the North Ga mountains.

Four of us went to Fender's because of the 50's theme. We enjoyed looking at the decor and noticing that most of the patrons must have been locals. We ordered the Friday specials which were fried fish and roast beef and also a Reuben. We were served promptly even though the place was crowded. No complaints from any of us... More

This is a hidden gem. Rock solid menu with daily specials. Get there early or you may have to wait to be seated. The food is very good. The food is diner quality and good portions. The service can be a little slow. The restaurant is clean. Would have received an "excellent" if the waitress was a little more attentive.

Whole restaurant has that 50's feel, Formica tabletops, vinyl chairs, music, posters, petal cars, bikes, old telephone booth, etc. Portions were very generous. My son had a chocolate malted milkshake. We ordered 2 appetizers, a burger, a fish fry, a Reuben and a chef salad. All the food was only average. Our total bill before tip was $49.67. They do...
