A busy place usually means folks enjoy it, and that is why it is so busy! Good food, good service, very nice owners, all make for a good experience. Not really much going on in downtown Cornelia unfortunately, but Fender's is worth a venture over to the downtown area if you are around.

Fenders is 1950s motif diner located in in downtown Cornelia, about a block off old hwy 441. The place is scrupulously clean with a simple menu of 1950s diner fare. Food was excellent, the decor is interesting and the original pressed tin ceilings alone are worth the stop. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did!

Cute 50's diner - we went twice while staying at the river on vacation for breakfast. My husband loved the egg sandwich and French toast and once he got the pancakes. I thought it was good, but the omelette was too cooked for my liking (just the way my husband likes it), I loved the biscuit it was huge! The... More

With limited dining choices in Cornelia we decided to give Fenders a try and we were delighted. The 50s atmosphere was a great retro experience complete with oldies music at a comfortable volume. The food was very good, prices were a great value, and service was pleasant. We recommend this place to anyone stopping overnight.

Nice classic diner, well worth the slight detour from the main road if you happen to be driving though. Sweet tomato fries and deep fried okra were exceptional, but everything was pretty good. Nice atmosphere. On Saturday night the place was packed.

I have eaten here many times in the past years. The atmosphere is family friendly and you get good service almost every time you visit. Would recommend to someone visiting. A good hometown restaurant for anyone looking for a reasonably priced meal.

My wife, a friend and I had lunch at Fenders not long ago. I really enjoyed the decor. Our food ranged from good to OK. Service was a little erratic. Since I tend to have high expectations until those expectations are dashed, I have to say I was a little disappointed with the quality of food. Fenders had been so... More

My old friend Pete just moved back to town and wanted to meet for breakfast. Fenders new breakfast was the obvious choice since 1. They never disappoint and 2. Pete was a regular before he moved away. As always, another fine Fenders dining experience!!! Thanks Brandon!
