Large group needs help

Not the first time visiting here, but the first time the service was poor. The waitress seemed not so happy with working a large group and was not friendly. They took the orders pretty quick, and after bringing the drinks they were not seen for a very LONG time until they brought a salad and then... read more

My husband and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. I had a reuben and he had the calamari appetizer with a bowl of lobster bisque. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. The menu has a variety of salads, soups, sandwiches and entrees. They also offer a Sunday brunch with a Bloody Mary bar.... More

Cool little local tavern with good good, nice service and drink specials tied to the whistle of the trains that come by daily. Great nostalgia ties to being a depot stop historically. Try the big fish grouper sandwich

After stopping in for a delicious brunch a few weeks earlier I decided to take my parents here for dinner during a recent visit. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was plentiful, tasty, and well-presented. We did order drinks from the bar which were nice and strong. We will be returning in the future!

We stopped by for lunch, but were disappointed by the dark interior and concerned by the lack of customers. After looking at the dreary, stereotypical menu, we decided to leave.

We received great service and the Country Eggs Benedict was very tasty. The home fires were the best.

Ice skating, shopping, bars, restaurants and The originals is fimed here. Anyway, we went to the Whistle Post for dinner. The atmosphere is rustic tables, booths and the bar area is nice. The booths are... More

We have been to the Whistle Post Tavern before for a high school reunion luncheon and the food was good, so when we saw they were having a New Year's Eve party we decided to go. We were looking for something family friendly, because my 13 year old son was with us. Boy, were we shocked at the entertainment that... More
