Previous reviews stated food here is a bit pricey for bar food. This is a fair statement but food here is much more than standard bar food. I like the fish sandwich and chopped steak. Meals are always hot and served in generous portions. I've yet to try the deserts because I'm always too full!

The food is very good and reasonably priced. The menu is a little large, so its hard to decide what to eat, but I've never had anything bad there. The crab benedict at brunch is very good (seafood in Conyers is always a gamble...). The late-night crowd is a little rough. Very loud music, lots of grinding/trashy dancing happening... haha.... The food was nothing unique or exceptional. I'd rather pay for a chickfila chicken sandwich and know it will have some flavor. Decor isn't as cool as I hoped. It is a mish mash of train, sports, and nostaligic decor with too many gambling machines on the walls.

It's a cool place depending on what you are looking for. If you're looking for a honky tonk bar on a Saturday night, you're good here. Not a family place and not a quiet place. Food is marginal and service is so-so. Good for sports and conveniently located in old town Conyers.

Food is a little on the expensive side, but descent enough. Drinks are fairly priced and the service is usually excellent(which is why I give the place 4 stars). The place is big enough, very clean, updated and has a nice vibe. Nothing jumps out at you either great or poor, so its a safe, clean place to spend your... More

The Whistle Post Tavern promotes itself as a trendy nightspot that happens to serve breakfast, lunch and a mean Sunday brunch. Offering 10% off with a church bulletin on the Sunday brunch adds a nice, homey touch. The decor is rustic at best, with a large, mountain cabin feel. The railroad tracks across the street remind you that you're in... More

Dining here on Sunday with the pretty , young waitstaff and the trains whistling One hundred feet away makes this the perfect boutique restaurant for a rough and tumble town. But the food ain't badd either. Go and enjoy!

I've been here twice now, both times meeting coworkers for a drink. The food prices seem a bit high, but the portions are large, so you can split an order with a pal if you are in a pinch. The place is prepared for large groups so it's fine for Friday 4:30 drinks or schmoozing with buddies. It doesn't have... More
