I know you don't ordinarily think of a BBQ place as a spot for a birthday dinner, but our youngest daughter wanted her birthday lunch/dinner here. What a great choice! Jim 'N Nicks is evidently a chain which began in Alabama by a father and son team. They believe in the low and slow process of cooking their meat. It... More

This place smell like BBQ over a mile away. This lets you know someone is really cooking some pig the right way. There is a strong smoke flavor in the meat that just reminds me of home and I spent hours roasting some pig on the pit. The value is all there for about 25 to 40 dollars feed a... More

Went with a big party. The room had no dampening whatsoever and was noisier than a middle school gymnasium. Couldn't hear what the people directly next to me were saying. Got the BBW Beef Nachos appetizer--deeelicious. Got the Brisket plate for the main course. The brisket was so tender you could flake it like a fish. The creamed collards were... More

I'd had catered food from their Smyrna and it was perfection. I was thrilled when a cohort of fellow students suggested the Conyers location for a bonding lunch. I ordered the "The Double Decker: A combination of pulled pork and beef brisket" on sourdough bread. I was very surprised to see how skimpy the portions of pulled pork and beef... More

You'll be ready to eat when you pull up and smell the BBQ smokin. This place has a great selection for the young and old .. kids too. Chicken, Turkey, Beef and Pork. If you can't find something on their menu you'll like, you need to stay home.

I've been here many times and am never disappointed. A little more pricey than some BBQ restaurants, but very good. I haven't had anything here that I don't like, but stick with pork (plate, sandwich or ribs). I typically have a pork plate with brunswick stew and slaw. The muffins are incredible!

You wouldn't expect such wonderful sides at a BBQ place. The Mac and cheese is to die for, as is the cabbage, which isn't on the menu, you just have to ask for it. The onion rings, and creamed spinach are great too, I had the grilled catfish, which I'd never had before, and it was really tasty. It had... More

Carlos was a great waiter. Very attentive. Home cut fries were great. But very disappointed that the beef brisket was so fatty. :(. My spouse however loved the pork. If my choice I wouldn't come back.

I've had a couple really great experiences at this restaurant, but the last few times I have been here have been very bad experiences. Last time I order a burger without mustard. It came with mustard. I sent it back and the kitchen decided to scrape about 80% of the mustard and about 20% of the american cheese off and... More
