Quality BBQ

The BBQ is quality. The pulled pork, is flavorful. The chicken is smoky. And , my favorite, the brisket is outstanding. You can enjoy your meal either inside the restaurant or outside on the patio. Staff is courteous and helpful. The libations are not weak nor overpowering.

While the have great barbecue meats (pulled pork, brisket, hot sausage and chicken) my favorite is the made from scratch sides. Everything is made daily in the local restaurant. I have two other favorites, the burger and the ribeye. Both are cooked to order and always fresh and juicy.

This was my first time coming here and I was told by friends it was good and I must say it was really good for a restaurant. Loved the food and the sides the mac & cheese was good for a restaurant and I had Baked beans they were not the best but good.

I consider myself a barbeque expert, and this is just so-so barbeque. Have tried the pulled pork, all the rib selections, chicken and so on, and none are above average in my humble opinion. The prices are higher than other (better) barbeque restaurants in town. And the service can vary from great, to bad attitude. Menu selection choices are broad,... More

Jim & Nick's would definitely rate as one of the best BBQ restaurants that I've been to. The sides are yummy! Huge portions! I like to order the BBQ nachos & saad to share with a friend. Be sure to make room for dessert! Choose either the coconut pie or chocolate.

This was a first-time visit. By the crowd, I would say it is a local favorite. I can see why. Large menu, good food, and fast, friendly service. Especially enjoyed the turkey and ribs. Followed it up with peanut butter pie. Will definitely return!

As close to homemade barbecue as you can get. I always order from here when I don't want to grill out. The fried catfish and smoked turkey are delicious!

We were so excited to find a BBQ restaurant that serves something besides pork and chicken. Jim 'n Nicks has about the best beef brisket this side of Texas. If you order a brisket sandwich ask for inside cut. Very tender and good taste. The collards are good as well as the sweet potato soufflé. Good friendly service.

This place is about an hour's drive for us but is one of our favorite places for lunch. Their sandwiches are huge and so delicious. They have a great variety of foods from several different sandwiches to full plates. They have an appetizer that is so good that I usually get it for my lunch. It's grilled sausage, pimento and... Need something to pick up on the way home. You have two options. Place an order on the phone from their full menu and pick up in the bar or run through the drive through for a more limited menu and have it while you wait. If you have time go inside and sit down. In addition to barbecue, all... More
