A Favorite

We were so excited to find a BBQ restaurant that serves something besides pork and chicken. Jim 'n Nicks has about the best beef brisket this side of Texas. If you order a brisket sandwich ask for inside cut. Very tender and good taste. The collards are good as well as the sweet potato soufflé... read more

This was a first-time visit. By the crowd, I would say it is a local favorite. I can see why. Large menu, good food, and fast, friendly service. Especially enjoyed the turkey and ribs. Followed it up with peanut butter pie. Will definitely return!

As close to homemade barbecue as you can get. I always order from here when I don't want to grill out. The fried catfish and smoked turkey are delicious!

This place is about an hour's drive for us but is one of our favorite places for lunch. Their sandwiches are huge and so delicious. They have a great variety of foods from several different sandwiches to full plates. They have an appetizer that is so good that I usually get it for my lunch. It's grilled sausage, pimento and... Need something to pick up on the way home. You have two options. Place an order on the phone from their full menu and pick up in the bar or run through the drive through for a more limited menu and have it while you wait. If you have time go inside and sit down. In addition to barbecue, all... More

I've eaten at Jim 'N Nicks twice and did take-out once. The ribs have too much sauce for my taste, but if you like your ribs a little on the sweet side, this is your place. The cheddar cheese biscuits are delicious...nice & soft and fresh.

Servers are always friendly. Food is consistently good. This is not a quiet restaurant. If you are loping for intimacy, this is not the place to be. Ilove this place.
