This restaurant has almost legendary status in the area; delicious "country cooking" food, and incredible home made desserts. Concord is in the country so it's a drive to get there - but a pretty one. It's a "dear little" town by the RR with wonderful old buildings, picturesque churches, and much history. Today the tomatoes were local and fresh, the... More

We ate here for the first time today, at least the place was clean and had a old time ambience. The food wasn't bad, they nearly burn the fried okra, green beans were excellent as is the coconut pie. Tea is terrible, it looks like light colored water with no taste. The owner was nice and we would go back... More

We stopped in the Concord Cafe on Sunday for their Buffet. What a great little restaurant and a charming little town. Although there was a crowd, our family of 7 got seated promptly. The staff was courteous. Salad was fresh and the food was delightful and if home style cooking is what you want then try the Concord Cafe. Fresh... More

I think $13 for Sunday lunch is a little pricey. Since we got there after one and I think they must close at 2, lots of items were down to the last little bit, and as we were just sitting down, many people were getting to go boxes so selection had gotten quite a bit sparse. No white meat fried... More

A great hideaway in beautiful country setting in Georgia. About an hour and half drive from Atlanta. For that Sunday drive with top down and just leisurely ride through countryside, hard to beat! Went there for Sunday Lunch and got there before church let out locally which enabled us to go right on thru the buffet line. Fried catfish, fried... More

This is a delicious bounty of home style/southern foods. We drive about an hour to eat there! Some of the best homemade cakes and pies in Georgia! Served buffet style, but very clean and fresh.

I have eaten at this local buffet many times...always a good experience! They are only open for lunch Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Sunday is the best as for just a few dollars more, they add 6 casseroles, several dessert choices and your drink to the normal buffet & salad bar. Regular items are turkey, roast pork, fried chicken... More

This place works very hard for it's customers. The food is always excellent with lots of selections. Its not uncommon to find 3 or 4 meats, 5-7 vegetables, and 6 or so casseroles on the buffet. Biscuits and rolls, salads, and the most wonderful chocolate chess pie (plus many other Southern favorites) complete the meal. You will be stuffed when... More
