Long time Chef Lee's fan

Chef Lee's is a Columbus institution and it is the basis for which I judge almost all Chinese food. It is not the best Chinese food on earth, but it's consistently good, the prices are great, service is fast, and I haven't been disappointed. I usually go whenever I'm in Columbus. I'm a fan of the... read more

So I went to lunch with my family, we have visited many years ago. (We moved). Let me start off by saying the food always taste great and the service is very quick. The staff works very quick as a team. Now the environment: we were a group of 7. 3/10 forks were dirty. The glasses and plates were very... More

If you don't have time to eat in, call ahead for takeout. You'll still get to see the wonderful decor on the outside of the building, but most importantly, you still get the taste the great Chinese food. We look forward to Chef Lee's every time we visit Columbus.

We were looking for a place to eat yesterday, and found Chef Lees. It looked very ornamentsl, typical Chinese on the outside. We thought it was a somewhat fancy eatery, but upon walking through the front door it quickly changed. We were greeted, not with a hello or welcome, but with a very unfriendly Chinese lady. She grabbed some menus... More

I remember coming to this place a few years back with my grandmother and great-grandmother. It was always delicious and had the nicest servers. I recently returned to this restaurant, and it still remains as a great place to eat! I definitely recommend eating here. You're almost guaranteed to have leftovers to take back home. Authentic and nice Chinese restaurant!

I used to love Chef Lee's. My family would eat there every Saturday night after church. However, the place has (sadly) gone downhill. Every time I order chicken, it seems like I get the leftover, gristly parts. In hopes of a turnaround, we ordered to-go last week. I couldn't even finish half of my rice because it was so salty.... I always enjoy eating at Chef Lee's. It is my favorite restaurant for Chinese food in Columbus. The staff is warm and responsive. The soups are very good. I enjoy their sizzling rice soup. My friends enjoy their wonton soup.

Felt like some sort of East Asian cuisine so I decided to try this when I passed it. Was hesitant at first because the architecturally splendid Chinese restaurants I've been to before had mediocre food at best. This one was no different. The menu was unimpressive. I chose the Kung Pao pork because there were not many options at all.... More
