The ambiance was nice, however even though we had a reservation, we still waited for an hour for a seat. The place had great drinks for an average price of $8 but the food was expensive for what they gave. The food was unimpressive and very bland. The service was good once we sat down .

I want to praise The Loft for being a multi-service venue....a restaurant, a night club, a gathering place, etc.....but my favorite thing about The Loft is that they feature Jazz performances every Friday night from 7 pm to 9 pm. The performers vary each week, and there is no cover charge or fee to enjoy the entertainment. Of course, they... More

I went on a date here and it was an awesome experience from entering the establishment, being seated, served/waited on and exiting. The waitress gave good recommendations and I look forward to going back. The price was well worth it and their chocolate cake is so delicious it should be illegal!

It is an interesting old building in a cool little downtown area. The service was ok as was the food. None of it was bad but none of it was great. As for the dessert, I think they are relying on the portion to wow you. I had the pecan pie. It was two huge slices. It was not very... More

The Loft is a fun and lively restaurant. Nesha was a stellar waitress. It was a nice surprise to receive complementary homemade chips and French Dip to start. Quite tasty! I had the portabella wrap and it was delicious. It came with one side, I chose broccoli. I asked if they could steam it and it was no problem. I... More

Went to the loft early evening with my husband and young daughter. We were seated promptly no wait in the upstairs dining area. It's a beautiful place I just wasn't all that impressed with the food. I ordered stuffed tilapia with soulful mac and cheese and sauteed baby spinach. I have really nothing to report about the food it wasn't... More

The Loft is our go-to dinner place in Columbus. We always try all of the new places, and get excited about them, but we keep coming back to The Loft. It's consistently good in terms of food and always reliable in terms of service. I wish Columbus had a better restaurant scene. But if you want a place where you... More
