Ok we decided one day to go visit Columbus Ga. We stopped here to have lunch and boy I wished we had not, the place looks like the 50's and never has been renovated, the staff though friendly looked like the belonged in a tattoo parlor instead of a food place, the ribs were over cooked, the slaw sucked had... My first visit and I was amazed. The bite sized pork plate was tender and wonderful. The mustard based sauce was light and tasty. The beans and potato salad sides were excellent, but extra $. Plate came with slaw, light bread and lots of pickles. Slaw was different; try small bite first. Pie seemed to have come sliced and pre-packaged... More

This a hole in the wall. Not somewhere you take a date or something like that, but good food. This is the best BBQ in Columbus.

In our quest for the best BBQ in the Columbus area we searched for Smokey Pig and were happy we did. The all pork menu is simple to navigate and they have large pictures of the sliced, bite sized and chipped style. The sauce is mustard based and they sell it to go as well. (My only issue with the... Great Bar-b-que. Our first time experiencing southern bar-b-que and we really enjoyed a new culinary adventure. We would definitely eat here again.

Once again I am pleased to announce that Smokey Pig BBQ has delivered yet another great meal. However..................................the BBQ slaw has a bit too much "tang" for my taste. It's good, but not great. They put a bit (to turn the slaw orange/brown) of their house made BBQ sauce in it. Their sauce on the other hand is sublime. Whenever... More

We went here on a Saturday at lunch time on a very rainy, cold day, and found the place to still have a line. The bbq is limited to pork. You can have it either chipped or sliced (bite sized). There are various sizes of sandwiches and plates available. The bbq sauce is a mustard based one with a vinegar... More

The restaurant was recommended. It was a nice small lunch as we ordered the small combo's. Tasty meal. Counter service. Did not try the ribs, which we understood to be a new offering. Looks like they would do a great weekday lunch traffic. Friendly folks

I had lunch here with a colleague. Great BBQ! Great unique coleslaw. Service is great. Awesome view of their pit - they go through a lot of meat. I am going back.
