Great little hidden spot

This restaurant is off the beaten path of Columbus- it really is not very far away if you take the highway. I recommend for any couple or small group if you just want to get away from Columbus for a quick and wonderful meal. Their food is very good but don't let them trick you into the cheese bread.

at least it's right off I-185. It's always a bit crowded it seems with pretty good hamburgers which frankly is all I've ever ordered here. It might be time to try something else for a change. There is a sense that the place might blow away in a storm but we have been having rain everyday for a week and... More

It has been over an hour since we ordered and still no food. Waitresses are sliw and inatentive. I have watched multiple people receive food who arrived at the restaurant well after we ordered. If service is what you are looking for then this is definatly not the place for you.

This is by far the best steak-house I've ever been to (and trust me, I've made the rounds). AND, the best fried lobster tails, EVER! I've invited several co-workers over the years to go when we're in the area including Columbus (about 25 mi. away), Pine Mtn/Callaway Gardens, about 17 miles away and every time I take someone new, when... Truly this is a case of "you can not judge a book by it's cover". The food is great, the servers are friendly, and the crowd is eclectic: you can find pick up trucks and jaguars in the parking lot. You may have a line, but you will be pleased with the meal. The owners have other restaurants in town-all... More

Don't go for the atmosphere, go for the food! It is absolutely delicious, especially the steak. Prepare to wait in line but it will be worth it.

Everyone is "go to Hunter's Pub!!" So finally I dragged my husband to Hunter's Pub. I was extremely disappointed. This is the exact same food at Mark's City Grill etc. except the tables were old and all pushed way too close together. Service was pathetic (all under the guise that everyone loves it! - well hire more waitresses then so... More

Small place that serves up great food with a side of Southern Hospitality! Don't be put off by the appearance or location of the place. I don't think you will ever go and not have to wait. Big groups wait longer because the place is so small. Once you do get in, you will first experience the best in Southern... More

Don't hesitate. Get in the car and GO!! Doesn't matter the distance. GO! This place is worthy of many words. I read the reviews and put the addy in my GPS. So glad I didn't notice immediately that I had to drive 18 miles to get there from the hotel or I would have missed the BEST restaurant in Georgia.... More

These folks have cracked the code. I believe they could park a trailer along the side of the road and pitch a tent and in no time, folks would figure out where they were located and mob the place for great food at a good price. Not a frilly, candle lit experience, but real folks eating real food.
