Everyone is "go to Hunter's Pub!!" So finally I dragged my husband to Hunter's Pub. I was extremely disappointed. This is the exact same food at Mark's City Grill etc. except the tables were old and all pushed way too close together. Service was pathetic (all under the guise that everyone loves it! - well hire more waitresses then so... More

Small place that serves up great food with a side of Southern Hospitality! Don't be put off by the appearance or location of the place. I don't think you will ever go and not have to wait. Big groups wait longer because the place is so small. Once you do get in, you will first experience the best in Southern... More

Don't hesitate. Get in the car and GO!! Doesn't matter the distance. GO! This place is worthy of many words. I read the reviews and put the addy in my GPS. So glad I didn't notice immediately that I had to drive 18 miles to get there from the hotel or I would have missed the BEST restaurant in Georgia.... More

These folks have cracked the code. I believe they could park a trailer along the side of the road and pitch a tent and in no time, folks would figure out where they were located and mob the place for great food at a good price. Not a frilly, candle lit experience, but real folks eating real food.

The best food within miles! If you like beef, this is your place. They also have good seafood and specials. The service is very good. HOWEVER, if you're looking for atmosphere, you'll hate it. They do FOOD, not atmosphere. If you go, go early or be prepared to wait. When you first see it, you'll think about going some where... More

My friend and I knew we were in the right place when we saw all the vehicles parked along the side of the road. I took this as a good sign and it was. A lot of people waited outside to be seated which is also a good sign since most people would just bag it rather than wait. We... More

Ambiance - well, yes, in a very southern kind of way. I'm from Alabama, and I don't notice it as ambiance - it just feels like home. You will sit at a small table, you will be bumped into a lot, you will be treated like family, and you will like it! The food is the star. The fried lobster... More

Initial expectations were low as Hunters Pub was described as "looks like an old biker bar" when we were headed to dinner. Went on a Thursday night and the place was packed with individuals, couples and families. As others described it's a relatively small place in a single open room. Music from the '80s played on the juke box, much... More

You are immediately greeted with a country "holler" and how many? Then you seat yourself wherever an open table is. My recommendation is by the jukebox. Space is small and to avoid a "rear" to close, while eating it might be a wise choice. The service and waitress are very nice and do a great job. There is nothing fancy... More
