Hard to find good local food in Columbus - lots of fast food and catfish - but this place hit the mark. Had the tasty "heart healthy" pork tenderloin, with the vegetable of the day (Mac and cheese)! One of my companions had the Barbeque chicken which was a large and nicely prepared meal - it came with a little... More

Places like Sonny's, Smokin' Pig, etc. are my extended family's favorite types of places to dine as a family. Country's is definitely our place here in Columbus. There's 3 locations that I know of and have been to 2 of them. Expect "southern hospitality" even if that annoys you just a little...

One of our favorite places to go in Columbus. Bar B Q is excellent Best iced tea in town. Fresh cut French fries. Good pies. Also good fried chicken and grilled chicken breast. Check out the daily specials. Three locations to chose from in Columbus. Uptown on Broadway in old bus station most interesting. Kids love to sit on the... More

The food is always good and they do have some good specials. The vegetables are homemade (mostly) and the onion dip is AWESOME.

Columbus has a pretty cool downtown scene. We were on our way back from Florida and wanted to stop for lunch. We ran across this spot where the parking lot was full and decided to pull in. This was too much of a local favorite and not a family (out of town) spot. The menu has no kids menu. We... More

I placed a to go order for a BBQ pork platter that comes with two sides. The baked beans and brunswick stew were very tasty yet the BBQ was disgusting. It was full of fat (barely any meat) and what meat was there was hard and burnt. I have no interest in going back and won't recommend the place to... More

This is a restaurant I have grown up going to and in the past few months have been to multiple times while visiting family in the area. The service is wonderful and the BBQ is too! This is really pit smoked BBQ, you can see the smoke billowing from the back of the restaurant and smell the meat cooking. Their... More

We really enjoy eating here. We find the BBQ to be good to okay, but what we really love is their fried chicken. Truly, the best fried chicken ever and if you go in summer they have some amazing fresh and home cooked vegetables. Also, their Friday special is turkey and dressing and this is wonderful especially if you get... More

Popular place at lunch time! It's a big place and it was packed, but we didn't wait long for a table or service. My husband had a sandwich and I had ribs. The pork sandwich and the ribs were pretty good. We've had better, but if we found ourselves at the Riverwalk again, we would go back. I ordered the... More

The ribs were tough, the brunswick stew was cold, the waitress was less than helpful. I will definitely not go back here. If you want much better BBQ you can get it at Jim n Nicks in Auburn in a nice establishment or at BBQ House in Fort Mitchell in a really rustic building that you may have doubts about... More
