Although the food is awesome- the staff is as dry as day old toast. I recommend the Onion dip with Fritos as a yummy starter.

The food was good, but the acoustics are so bad you can't hear your table mate. They serve the sandwiches a al carte on a small plate so it looks skimpy and there isn't enough room for any thing else. The veggies are bland and the coleslaw has a weird taste. The pulled pork was ok, but some parts are...

Went here with some friends for Saturday lunch. My buddy and I ordered "The Conglomeration" which included three ribs, chopped pork and sliced "brisket". My wife and friends wife ordered the chopped pork platter and we all had different sides. Ribs were tasty, if a bit dry and tough. Chopped pork was good with a healthy amount of pork included....

We don't care for there BBQ. However, we like everything else there from scramble dogs, fried chicken fingers, gigantic sweet potatoes, collards, country fried steak/gravy. Banana pudding. Generous servings. Take-out available & very popular. Columbus now has 3 of these restaurants, and could use some more.
We have been here several times and I always look forward to a chance to go back. Only problem is the long wait at peak times for a table. Otherwise, food is great, wait staff is helpful and pleasant, atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable. One of the best places to eat in Columbus GA.
When we drove in and saw all the piles of wood for smoking their own meats I had a feeling it would be good and it was great! If you want barbecue, this is THE place to go.
What a pleasant surprise! Coming in the front door was like taking a small step back in time. The décor was inviting. The service was beyond excellent. All of the staff were very friendly! The food was excellent and plentiful! (I loved the green beans!!!) We had a shake after our meal that was probably the best I've ever had....

We have lived in Columbus for about two months now, and my husband and I have wanted to try Country's since we moved here. It smells so great every time we drive by.
We finally tried it yesterday. The waitress was very sweet and kindly moved us when we requested a different seat, because the first table was squeezed in...

Upon moving to Columbus, we drove by this place every weekend, and it always smells fantastic. Finally one day, we decided we had to try it for lunch, and liked it so much we went back the next day! Nice portion sizes, great service, good food. We'll definitely be back.
Wish we would have eaten there. They had 3 man band playing, but it was great bbq to eat and relax back at the room. We ordered BBQ, Tenderloin sandwiches, Chef Salads, French fries, Best desserts and sweet tea. Lots of kinds of sauces too. Fast service and everything was great!
