Belly up to the bar to watch the game or sit outside and watch the local traffic. Great selection of beer - Yummy Sam Adams Winter Lager!

Tried this place out the first night in town and wasn't disappointed. Very unique setting in old gas station with great outdoor seating available also. Nice TV's all around to watch sports on and great food. Reasonably priced options and plenty of food on your plate.

On a Thanksgiving family trip to Clayton, we were too tired after our drive to cook so we visited this local watering hole on a Sunday night. It was too cold and rainy to sit outside, but indoors the place was crowded with locals and a sprinkling of tourists. The locals sang along to songs on the jukebox while NFL... More

A local favorite in downtown Clayton, this is a great place to hang out in warmer weather. The doors on the converted service station open up, and great music abounds. On the weekends, live bands set up on an outdoor stage. Lots of free parking around back. Food is basic burgers and salads, but tastes great. They are so busy... More

Awesome atmosphere here with tons of outdoor space and a fire pit. The food was great, especially the chips and queso.

We ate here one Sunday, and the place was packed. The angus burgers were great. If you want to go vegetarian, they have a black bean patie, and glute-free is also an option. The arugula salad with soy ginger dressing was delicious. Great craft beer selection. We will be back!

My wife and I loved the hospitality and personality of the Unicersal Joint. From the fresh ground hamburgers and frosty draught beer to the outdoor dining and courteous staff, this place encompasses what the spirit of Clayton has. Great for the young and old.

We were on our way back to Atlanta from the mountains and decided to eat lunch in Clayton. Normally we just eat fast food on 441. I pulled out my phone and got Trip Advisor recommendations for the area. We decided on Universal Joint and were not disappointed. We ordered the tomatillo cheese dip and chips. It was really good---very... More
