This is a great place to stop in for lunch when you are in the Georgia mountains. It is a local hangout on Savannah street in the heart of Clayton, with a simple but tasty menu. Basic interior, but tasty food in a clean environment--I could easily envision this eatery in a college town someplace. Try the turkey slaw sandwich... More

Stopped in for lunch after hiking. Very casual, order at counter. Food is very yummy and fresh. We had vegetarian sweet potato soup, smoked turkey/split pea soup. And split a roasted vegetable sandwich. It all tasted wonderful. There is an outdoor dining area in the back too. Nothing fancy. Prices below $10 for meal.

Grapes and Beans is reliably good. The food is prepared with care and with great attention to its wholesomeness. Even though whatever you choose to eat will be delicious, you can also be sure it's good for you! The atmosphere is warm and friendly, but a bit quirky in a very good kind of way. The vine covered outdoor patio... More

I always love stopping by Grapes and Beans whenever I'm in downtown Clayton. I adore their Gyros but have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. A great place for coffee and dessert after a morning shopping. Thanks, Grapes and Beans:)

I met family here for lunch on a weekday. Stayed inside since it had just rained and the outside patio seating was a little damp. Order at the counter and drinks are self serve. The lentil soup was very flavorful and had lots of extra veggies, the southwest salad was very good, the greek chicken wrap was delicious, the melted... More

On a recent trip from our home near Athens, GA, to Highlands, NC, my wife and I planned a stop for lunch in Clayton. I used TripAdvisor to search for restaurants, and settled on Grapes & Beans as a result of the reviews. We were not disappointed. It's a quaint little spot just a block-and-a-half off of the main Hwy... More

Very nice, healthy dining and a great location. The back patio is surrounded by foliage and makes you forget that you're in the middle of town.

Wonderful fresh food for all. LOVE the vegetables and that you can have chicken or turkey or Salmon (soup) also. A VERY casual dining experience; just what we wanted today. We live in North Carolina, an hour away, but it was worth the drive. You order at a counter from a menu or from the specials of the day listed... More

Had opportunity to eat lunch here twice this week. Delicious southwest chicken sandwich one day and bowl of salmon soup today. Both good but salmon soup was outstanding. Owner says they feature the soup every friday. Don't missit

Lovely place for lunch, great food, enjoyable service, some decent and inexpensive wines to choose from and certainly the " best" cup of coffee in town....enjoy!
