Gone downhill

This was, at one time, a great place for BBQ. No longer. Pork was dry and overcooked, Brunswick stew had a strange medicinal flavor. Not really worth eating, even if it were cheaper.

After hearing of this place literally for years, I finally got to visit! I've been wearing a PinkPig T-shirt for years (my partner's family had lived in Ellijay) and had been asked questions about the place every time I wore it! (I should have been given a free dinner for advertising haha!) The Pink Pig is a place everyone should... More

Stopped in for early dinner, they were probably unusually crowded due to the apple festival. Found the food to be overpriced for what we got. I ordered a pork sandwich which comes with chips and you have a order a side of fries because they do not believe in substitutions. They do not offer slaw on a sandwich, even that... More

If you like pig collections, this is the place for you. Average meals and average all-round. Fun stop on the way up the mountains.

This restaurant is one of those hidden treasures everyone should try. Make sure you try the Garlic Salad!

We tried to go to another BBQ place in Ellijay, but it was packed so we moved on. We decided to try this place, but now wish we had kept driving. The atmosphere is cute, but it took 30 minutes to get our drinks, and another hour to get our food!! We had 3 small children with us who were... More

I have been eating at the Pig Pig almost since it opened. I was really worried when Bud died, i thought that was the end of the Pink Pig. Boy was I wrong, Samantha has taken it to new levels and I know Bud would be very proud. I love the salad with pulled pork and I dress it up... More

Good food. Restaurant is a little way out of Blue Ridge, but convenient enough for visitors and residents to access. Moderate prices.

We have been going to The Pink Pig for about six years now, ever since we bought our cabin in Cherrylog. The have superb BBQ and we feel like everyone who works there is family. I think the restaurant operations have been taken over by the owners daughter because the decor has changed from a definitely masculine interior to a... More

Now, we did eat at 2:00 in the afternoon, but the service was great. There are only 13 tables, so I can instant how they can get jammed up when they're busy. BBQ beans were wonderful. My wife liked the Brunswick stew much more than I did. The BBQ potato skins were wonderful. Great eats!
