Nice family owner BBQ

We rented a cabin in Cherry Log, GA and this restaurant was right at the street that lead to our cabin. Joe's in Blue Ridge was what everybody recommended, but on Saturday they closed early with a sign in the window "Out of food." How does a restaurant not know how to plan so as to not run out of... read more

We love BBQ and especially visiting the small local places throughout Georgia. This place was a delightful fine. Portions were not overly generous but certainly adequate for lunch. The sweet sauce was good; their own vinegar based sauce was very good. I'm not a big vinegar BBQ sauce fan, but this had the bitterness toned down and a touch of... More

i had the Jake's special the 3 sliders not bad but the sweet potato fries came from a bag, and not homemade. My husband had the chicken that looked like it was cooked in the sun, and the famous sweet tea was pure sugar water, other than that it was good food.

First time visit as it was recommended by a local who said it was great. My husband had ribs which were ok nothing to write home about, both my children ages 11 & 12 enjoyed their pork sandwiches I had the brisket ( thank goodness it was the small sandwich) plain and dry. Staff take your order, deliver and you... More

Don't get people raving about this place. To me, the BBQ can't hold a candle to Joe's in Blue Ridge. The "garlic salad" dressing they tout is way overwhelming and too vinegary. Also, expensive for what you get.

Food was good. Prices were reasonable. A mix of both tourists and locals who seemed to be enjoying their meals. Would try it again if we return to the area.

We eat at the Pick PIg in Cherry Log often and sometimes plan our trips down 515 to coincide with the days the PInk Pig is open. The staff is always pleasant and courteous, the service prompt and the food well prepared. My wife especially likes the chicken livers, both fried and grilled and the sweet potato fries, which come... More

My husband I was sent here by locals after asking where to get good bbq. It was easy to find and they was very welcoming. It is a small place and we got there at a good time right after dinner so I could imagine you would wait a little bit if you come while they are busy. The restaurant... More

Our Realtor, Melinda Hadden, told us about the Pink Pig and said we had to go try it out. She was so right, this was the best BBQ I've ever had. The atmosphere is fun and light, reminding you of one of those old road side cafe's you would have found back in the hay day of road travel. We... More

Unique and quaint setting. Not easy to find, but worth the effort. Food was good. We've been there before when in the area, and it seems like the portions have gotten smaller. It might be a function of us getting there late in the evening. I ordered the large portion and I left hungry.
