Very pleasant local restaurant

Always friendly staff. Food is pleasant and well prepared. Atmosphere aligns with local community and rumor has it frequently visited by President Carter.

Hate to say I went to a BBQ joint and ordered the chicken livers. Damn they were good! Very tender. Nice crunchy batter. Even good with some sauce. Wife and friend had the pulled pork. Good "Q". Liked the vinegar based sauce the best. I kept losing livers off my plate during my lunch. Peanut butter pie is good. Very... More

Ok campers, we didn't eat here. However; we did get to sample many of their dishes at a local vendor fair. Food was outstanding. Tender meats, smoked perfect, great flavor and awesome BBQ sauce. We tried the pulled pork, brisket, chicken parmesan, garlic salad, pimento cheese stuffed bread, and special potatoes. All the food was excellent. Catering is available and... More

Quick, reasonably priced and delicious. They have multiple sauces to choose from including a home-made vinegar based sauce which I loved. If you are not into pork, they have a variety of other choices including beef and chicken as well as burgers and sandwiches. The desserts are yummy, especially the banana pudding and cobblers. The atmosphere is also pleasant.

We're in town on vacation & saw this place had good reviews so we decided to check it out. I had the combo plate with the mac & cheese and the baked beans. The meats were okay, the baked beans were decent, but the mac & cheese had absolutely no flavor at all. My daughter got the chicken & dumplings,... More

Good barbecue. Friendly people. The pork quesadilla is definitely my favorite meal in the place. I always have enough left over for another meal or snack. Definitely worth stop.

The pink pig has the best garlic salad ever. No vampire will get around you for a month. The sandwiches and plates are pure Ga. bbq. The staff is great and service is fast. Go by and try it. Oh they sell the garlic sauce. Um.

I have visited The Pink Pig each of the last five years. It is filled with charm. You might find better barbeque around, but not by much. At least I have not. Certainly without the old time ambience. WIsh my dad was still around so I could take him. The pork falls off the bone easier than some of the... More

Went on a Saturday afternoon and wasn't very busy. I had the pork bbq plate. Love the sweet sauce the best. Although I am not a big fan of their type of fries, they were pretty good. The waitress was very friendly and got our food to us quickly as well as checking on us throughout meal. Seems to be... More
