If you are looking for some country style eats this is one of many places in Chatsworth. Everybody's taste is different when it comes to good country food, but this is one of my favorites.

Ednas has been in my home town all my life and it is a good place for some good country cooking at a very reasonable price. Good quality food, good Fried Chicken and wonderful homemade peanut butter pie. People from Atlanta and surrounding areas drive here to eat at Ednas.

This was well reviewed in Jane and Michael Stern's Road Trip book of 2009 and we just happened to be coming out of Tennessee. I scurried through the book to see if there was anything nearby: it was Edna's. We were not disappointed: a meat and three and we sampled every side. My favorite was the scalloped tomatoes, and my... I had just driven out of the mountains and was hungry. I didn't want fast food and was lured into Edna's by the sign and full parking lot. The food was mediocre. The fried chicken was dry and the green beans and rice were not homemade. Even the sweet tea wasn't very good. Maybe I caught them on a bad... More

Stopped here while in route to Fort Mountain. Lured in by the home cooking advertisement. I won't say the food was all bad but my party of four had mixed reviews about it. Whipped potatoes are just that (instant potatoes whipped with water). 2 members of our party had BBQ pork and they agreed it was the worst BBQ they... More

As I was reading these reviews I started thinking. Who are these people? Apparently they have no taste buds at all. Could this be? I don't want to sound rude but that can be the only excuse for giving 4+ star reviews. Do you want to know the truth? Here it is. Take my word for it or go waste... More

Several of us stopped by on a motorcycle trip thru the area on our way back to Florida. Everything was great, lunch - ample portions and quality, well prepared food - the pies were outstanding - fabulous experience, including the great service! We are all Jones'ing to get back!

My friend and I stopped on the way to Chattanooga. This diversion took us about a 30 minutes out of our way, but we didn't mind. We both had the fried chicken and while it was well cooked and moist in the inside, we both agreed that it lacked seasoning. For sides I had green beans, greens, and potato salad.... More

After having a chicken and dressing craving all week, I stopped in Edna's on a Friday for a lunch plate to go. I got the chicken and dressing, fried okra, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese with rolls. I noticed the plate was heavy when it was handed to me, but I didn't realize until I got the plate out... More

A Family Restaurant where you can still get a home cooked meal. A Family Restaurant where the waitress' know you by name when you come in. Great homemade pies. A Restaurant that you can still afford to carry your family out to eat at an incredible value and awesome food. A legend among Restaurant's that is known not only by... More
