Cannot go wrong

A local favorite throughout the region. The family and I have been to Edna's many times over the years and have never been disappointed with a meal or had a complaint.

Any place that has fried chicken for a special every day is alright with me. But my husband does not care for chicken and there were lots of other meat and two or meat and three platters all at really great prices. The pies look homemade and the peanut butter was worth the ride from Tellico Plains, TN. I would... More

Our SS Class enjoys meeting there for dinner. Edna's has a large meeting room that will accommodate a large group.

Recommend for all ages. They have fresh vegetables daily, plus a choice of meat. Also good chicken fingers and shrimp. And the price will not break the bank. Great for just 1 person or 10.

This is a simple country place that does a nice job with the fried chicken plate. We stop here twice a year on the way to Atlanta for an art event . The yams and fried okra are good as is the cornbread. Keep it simple and you will enjoy your budget priced lunch.

Touching up canned food wont make it southern, service was ok but food was average at best, I had some kind of fish that was called flounder smothered in thick breading, it was terrible. I know fish and that was not flounder. My wife had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and some jelled, lumpy canned gravy. She wound up... More

If passing by on Highway 411, stop in here for some peanut butter pie. When I lived one town over (Dalton) years ago, I heard people I worked with rant and rave about this peanut-butter pie, as if a halo were floating over it! Truth be told, it is delicious. I stop by on Saturdays and treat myself, when I... More

They have the best homemade pies ever. If you are ever up in Chatsworth you have to try the home made pie. You can get Chocolate, peanut butter or coconut cream.. So yummy

If you are looking for authentic southern home style cooking - keep looking. Edna's has been a staple in Chatsworth for many years, but in the last 10 years the quality of the food has been in decline. The fried chicken is good - but that is it. The potatoes, green beans, and other veggies come straight out of a... More
