Excellent dim sum and super great service!

We were a party of 12 celebrating my wife's birthday. She is a HUGE fan of dim sum and we are back here once or twice a year. Same great service and same great food. We are always very pleased when we come here. This has to be one of Atlanta's top spots for dim sum in our opinion. We'll... read more

I have been coming to Royal China for several years and have always had great experiences here. I was lucky enough to live in Hong Kong for a couple of years and the food here is very authentic and diverse. The staff push carts to the tables containing several different types of dim sum, and if you don't see what... More

My wife and I came in on a Saturday for brunch. The experience was very different from any Chinese restaurant that I had ever been to. You can order off the menu or sample the dim sum from carts that were pushed around by staff. I should have asked for clarification as I thought it was an all-inclusive type brunch.... More

We liked the food - been here numerous times - the place used to be Honto's but it was closed for failing inspections. So we saw a cockroach climb onto the table - I went to tell the manager and he shrugged his shoulders.

We have been going to this restaurant for decades, beginning in the 90's when it was called Honto's. The current owners serve authentic Chinese food which is fresh and delicious. We love their salt and pepper squid, ginger and onion crab, sauteed snow pea leaves, and whole fish. Don't eat off the "american" chinese menu, try something different. All the... More

Although they serve Dim Sum all week long, the selection on weekends is quite extensive, and always fresh and delicious. This is our favorite Dim Sum restaurant and we go frequently. It is true that the carts come out in random order and there seems to be no pattern of where the carts go, but then waiting patiently and taking... More

The food, if you can finally get some, is very good but the service is horrible. Slow, neglectful and scatter-brained service can try your patience. The dim sum can be good but is a hit and miss. (Not our first visit here.) Very first thing we were shown the sweets cart. Then a good dim sum cart came by. And... More

Especially good authentic Chinese restaurant. Tremendous portions, well priced and delicious. Shared fantastic seared tiger shrimp dish with green onions - our favorite dish by far. Also sliced beef with snow peas very special. Staff very attentive and helpful. Place very simple - not fancy. Frequented by many families. Check it out!

You know how some Chinese restaurants wax and wane in quality over time? Well, a while ago, when I went to Royal China it was definitely not waxing, but this time it is waxed to a bright shine, to over use this idiom. Maybe it's best to go to authentic Chinese restaurants only for dinner or on the weekends, and... More

The food in this restaurant is very similar to what I used to eat in NYC Chinatown, which is a nice compliment. The Mu Shu chicken or pork is excellent, egg fu yung is the real deal as is the chow fun and virtually all other dishes are spot on. They also have a current 2 lobster special for $25.00.... More
