Despite the restaurant's appearance (inside and out), we had really good sea food dinners. Four different meals were all good. The grouper tacos were outstanding. Service was good but a little confused. Bar service was slow. Definitely a place I would return to.

After a quick check of TripAdvisor rating from the parking lot, I decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. I had the 1.5 pound crab legs. I didn't realize how much crab that is. 4 full clusters. I was in heaven. Very, very tasty. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. My server came... More

We stopped by Captain Jack's for lunch and it did not disappoint. The portions are generous - my husband and I shared the Captain's platter, which was plenty for the two of us to feel full, but not too full. The coleslaw (with a mayo based sweet dressing) was excellent , the fried seafood was prepared well and was delicious,... More

We found "The Shack" at the recommendation of a nearby hotel front desk hostess. We were not disappointed. A nice bar selection, even for this part of Georgia. The wife opted for grilled shrimp and scallops which were excellently prepared. My shrimp and grits were just great. (Thought I was back in the "low country"). They were nicely grilled and... More

Located just off the interstate, it is easy to get to. We order the grouper basket, our favorite is fried, and it has always been wonderful.

We found this place by "accident", decided to stop for the night and the motel we stayed at offered a discount coupon for Captain Jacks. Decided to give it a shot. Glad we did! We both had grouper (mine blackened and hers fried) and both were excellent. Slaw was great too. Hush puppies weren't the greatest but were OK. I... More

Stopped by here on a lark. Unfortunately we should have let that bird pass. My fried oysters were okay, but there was no attempt to degrease them. The only way was to wipe my hands after each bite. Same for my son's catfish. Hush puppies were hard and dry, cole slaw a little mushy. Mozzarella strips were out of a... More

It doesn't look like much. I was very surprised at how good and fresh the food tasted. I had a salad first, very fresh. Then I had the daily special, a blackened mahi mahi topped with a creole type sauce and blackened shrimp and two sides (the daily special-baby limas and mixed vegetables). Delicious! My husband had a fried combo... More

We stopped for dinner and they were very busy. However we were seated in about the twenty minutes we were promised. My husband ordered stuffed grouper and I ordered shrimp. Both entrees were good. However the hush puppies were so overdone, almost burned. I ate a half of one. The cole slaw was terrible. So this place is definitely over... More
