Stopped at this place for lunch while on vacation, got right in with no wait. We were able to sit out on the porch and watch the Toccoa river as we ate lunch. We ordered the encrusted trout and fried catfish, both were great. The fried green tomato appetizer was average, but the wait staff was very friendly. I recommend... More

The place is beautiful, however, the owner is worst kind of human being. Our steaks arrived at the table and where over cooked. (Three medium well steaks that should be Rare and 2 medium rare). The plates came back to the table and we were told the owner and the cook disagreed with us. My brother is a professional chef... More

I stumbled upon this restaurant while on vacation and found it to be a really nice place. The food was excellent as was the service. The prices were very affordable.

Everything about our recent lunch here was superb. The location on the river is incredible. Tremendous view. Has seating on the river for drinks if you wanted to. We got the pecan encrusted trout and the blackened trout. Both dishes were excellent. Our server did a very good job. Will warn you that parking is not good around this restaurant... More

Arrived for a late lunch about 2 pm and many cars were still in the lot and across the road. We were seated immediately but did not see much on the menu for vegetarians other than salads and a veggie burger. Fortunately our waitress was a vegetarian and suggested the chef might make a vegetarian pasta dish for us. When... More

This is absolutely a must when you visit Blue Ridge! We were seated inside and I wanted the deck with the river view and they accommodated us immediately! The dinner is pricey but delicious! I loved the trout and my husband enjoyed his steak. Even with the rain the deck tables are a must! Loved the ambiance!

While the restaurant was pretty, and the food was fairly good, the portions were small and overpriced, and the service was awful. I took my grandfather for an outing, and we wanted a nice destination where he could get some fish. We were aware of the mixed reviews, but decided to stop in, anyway. I now wonder how this restaurant... More

In the heart of redneck country, the Toccoa Riverside is a delight. The restaurant is well known to locals - and there is always a crowd outside and it is one of my local favorites. Parking can be a challenge, but Aska Road is beautiful - so just enjoy the scenary as you walk across the road. I can rarely... More

I asked to move from an outside table to a table on the rail next to the River, when another couple left. The Server said no problem, but the hostess on duty on June 28 did not let us move and was very rude and in front of everyone in the restaurant. This was very embarrassing. I was going to... More

Had dinner here with two other families. Nice view of the river but food was mediocre. Caesar salad was just three whole leaves of romaine with shredded parm and dressing on poured top. Had to cut it all up yourself. Sweet potato fries were soggy and cold. Pecan crusted trout was ok but my husband commented the trout I prepare... More
