Burgers are amazing!!! (like everyone says)

Stopped in mid afternoon to try "the best burgers in town". And they are! Sparse décor, but clean. One phone booth sized unisex restroom. Does not take credit cards. Food took a while but was worth the wait.

and they are huge too! Gorgeous desserts, and a dedicated Sue behind the counter. If you like a good burger, this is no McDonald's. They close early, so plan ahead.

Add there for lunch with 10 friends after rafting. Was absolutely phenomenal. Huge burger and very good slaw. Would definitely visit there again.

We decided to try Sue's out one day as their sign exclaims that they have the best burgers in town. Well after paying $13 for a burger, fries, and a drink (I can get a steak, two sides, bread, and a drink for the same price at Longhorn for lunch) I had hoped for the best burger in North Georgia.... This restaurant has stood the test of time in this community (since the 70s) because of doing a few things well. Sue herself took our order. All burgers are made fresh to order, so you have to wait a little bit, but not too long. My husband and I split the avocado burger, which was a hamburger topped with pepper... More

Stopped here after a day on the river. The burgers are really, really good. They are HUGE. I cannot even fathom eating a double decker. If we eat here again, I will likely try to split one with a family members. The shakes are also good, as are the cheese sticks. The cheese fries come with what appears to be... More

The cheeseburgers are large, meaty and full of flavor! The buns are soft and fresh! The fries and onion rings are typical of most hamburger diners. The highlight was Sue! She is just a delight. She told us the story of how she and her husband started the restaurant almost 40 years ago. Sue obviously loves what she does and... More

What a great place! The burgers were huge and cooked to perfection. The freshest lettuce and tomatoes topped the burger. The tater tots were crispy and yummy. My son who doesn't eat beef and is SUPER picky had chicken fingers and ate every bite. Yes you do need cash, but it is well worth the stop!

Have been eating at Sue's for more than seven years, and until recently has been consistently good...even great most of the time. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Appears they have changed their meat for the burgers? At a minimum, they have new cooks, and the result is highly disappointing. Burgers are dry, and overcooked. Fries grease soaked. Numerous...
