Grabbed a quick bite on our way through town. This was one of the only places we could find open (the town seems to close down at 5 p.m.) and at 8 p.m., we were the only guests. But, the food was very good, the people friendly and the place a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

We had lunch there today ... I had their fish and chips ... the French fries were nice and crisp and the fish was a little greasy but also lacked some flavor. My wife had 1/2 a BLT and the mushroom soup ... my wife said it tasted canned with 3-4 mushroom slices thrown in.

Food was very good with lots of choices. Waitress was prompt and friendly. We went on a Wednesday evening around 6:30, which was great. Being a small town, most of the locals were at church, so there was no wait. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted great!

My wife and I are locals...we remember when this restaurant was just a narrow corridor with an outdoor side garden. The food is still very good there, but the main thing that we like is the upgraded size and decor. It's great inside, but we really like eating out on the small patio adjacent to the sidewalk. You can watch... More

If you are looking for an "average" breakfast place that attracts locals, part time residents and weekenders, then this is the place. I have eaten here many many times and always enjoy the atmosphere. Ben and Warren have established a real Blue Ridge tradition. Their patio is second to none on Main Street. It's a great place to have a... More

We stopped by after an afternoon of tubing. We ordered the special - Fish & Chips and it was good. It came with a side salad and it was very good - had strawberries in it. We also ordered the chicken tenders and they were tasty as well. The restaurant was clean and quaint. The staff was friendly and attentive.... More

This is a local breakfast spot that duplicates a home style attempt at breakfast. The feeling is adequate and the coffee was so so at best. The staff is real polite and the motif is nice. We both had the Western omelet and the presentation came with ready made hash browns and hard biscuit with portion packed butter, jelly, creamers... More

Clean and friendly but food was average, not bad but not great either. We ate lunch and my family each had something different and all agreed it was ok but nothing stood out. I would eat here again but it wouldn't be my first choice in Blue Ridge.

Solid breakfast in a clean but outdated restaurant. The service was great and you could tell locals loved this place. The plates were full of delicious eggs and grits. Good food just a little lacking on atmosphere.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident while doing an art show in Blue Ridge and have been hooked ever since. It has the appearance of one of those EXPENSIVE places but it's not. Pleasantly surprised at every turn. Biggest pancake I've ever seen. For some reason I thought I could eat 2 of them with scrambled eggs and sausage... More
