We've eaten here before. Stopped in to grab dinner with kids. Ordered plate for 2 and feed myself, wife, 2 kids (8 & 4, that actually eat). Got out for under $30, and had a box to take.

While visiting spectacular Blue Ridge mountains and its surroundings this past July 2014, my family and I drove by Blue Ridge Mountain Bar-B-Q and ordered a full rack of ribs for all of us but what we got was merely bones; very little meat. I was so mad to have paid $17.00 since I ordered no sides and it barely... More

I am sorry you were disappointed with the ribs you purchased. It would have been nice if you had called the restaurant before leaving a one star review. The full rack of ribs you bought are not enough to feed an entire family. If you had asked if a single rack would be enough for a family we would have... More

We have been coming to Blue Ridge for the past eight years and this year we decided to see what was new. We tried Joe’s, but he had little for the kids and lots of loud drinkers, not to mention having to manage the kids across a busy road full of large fast pickups. We went to Mike’s but were... More

Pork and beef sandwiches both were great. Homemade potato chips and a baked potato that was not from a steam drawer.

We came here because Joe's was closed and we were really craving BBQ. The food was just okay, nothing worth coming back for. The mac and cheese tasted bland, like it came from a box as did the banana pudding. The highlight of the meal were the corn fritters, those were GREAT.

Only reason we went here is because Joe's BBQ was closed on a Monday. A few locals had mentioned several local BBQ places.... They had said that Blue Ridge BBQ was very dry! We found out for ourselves that was a very true statement! Dry and bland... Service was just ok. The inside is the place was nothing special at... More

The outside of this restaurant is really the only great part of my dining lunch experience at Blue Ridge BBQ. The inside is simple, clean and very bland. We were on overflow from Joe's since they were very busy and this place was open. The best statement is that they do make to order and the chopped pork was actually... More

As you wait for your barbecue and delicious sides, you are given smoked chicken and Ritz crackers to nosh on. Many visits result in my ordering this free taste of heaven.

Not too smoky flavor. Just ok. Big portions. They take their time but at least is close to be fresh. Corn fritters were really good, the rest of the sizes just blend. The only reason we went there is because Joe's was closed. I won't repeat this place. I don't believe it's worth the time and money.

My son brought home a container of Bob's Hickory smoked chicken salad a few years ago. Now I ask him to pick some up for me whenever he's in the area. He just brought me a container of the chicken salad today and it's as good as ever. Like my husband says, "I could just sit down and eat the... More
