Description: Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a family owned business, established in 2005, that offers variety of authentic Turkish food from many regions of Turkey. Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine adapted its name from one of the oldest cities in the world, Istanbul, which was once known as the Constantinople in the early 13th century. The name “Bosphorous” taken from the strait that lies in the center of Istanbul connecting the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, Europe to Asia. The decor of this eatery is kept to minimum to draw the attention to the food. The intent was to create a modernized, warm authentic atmosphere by taking the old elements of Istanbul and combining it with some modern influences to create a truly unique experience.

Stumbled across this restuarant and what a great find . The lava bread was standout as was the starters . Kebabs for main with jasmine rice were fantastic. Great service , lovely chatty waitress . Just fab.

Had dinner here with several business associates. The food was outstanding, particularly the mixed appetizer and the lentil soup. Service was attentive without being overbearing and our server was well-versed in the menu and able to help those who hadn't dined here before. The restaurant tends toward the loud side which makes it less than ideal for a business meeting.... More

This was the best falafel I have ever had. The Falafel Drive In, in San Jose is now second place. The falafel is triangular and has a very thin and crispy outside and a light herby inside. There tahini dipping sauce was different and complemented the falafel perfectly. We also had kebabs, those were very good but over shadowed by... More

We took the Sunrail to Winter Park for a quiet, relaxing day. We topped it off with lunch here. They serve delicious Turkish cuisine. We split a mixed appetizer and Lavas, a delicious bread. We are not big eaters, and it was plenty for both of us. Our waitress was a delight. We LOVE it when you can have fun... More

The Bosphorous is located on the upscale and stylish Park Avenue in Winter Park. My wife and I both love to visit Istanbul and love Turkish food. The food here is reminiscent of dining in Istanbul. Be sure to start with the Lava bread $4.25 but be careful not to fill up. We opted for the Babaganoush; there are several... More

Hands down an incredible restaurant all around! Great atmosphere, service, and the food is amazing! I'd recommend the meat platter (can't remember the official name). Share it with someone! It has lamb, steak, chicken, rice, veggies...cooked to perfection! A great start to your meal would be their puffy bread with spreads (baba ganoush, hummus, etc).

The food took almost 40 mins to come and they weren't even that busy, We ordered as soon as we sat. Also some plates had very little food for the amount charged. A 22-dollar plate should at least fill me up. Disliked it due to long wait and way over-priced menu. Its lunch portions for over-priced dinner prices.

So good. If you go with a few people I recommend starting off with the lavas and the Hummus and Babaganosh appetizer. For the main course, the Mixed Grill is fantastic. The Pides are okay, but if that is what you are really in the mood for, then you should probably just go to a pizza joint.

I was hesitant to dine in a Turkish restaurant but figured I might as well try something different and was glad I did. The Feta Plate had 5 slices of feta cheese, two mounds of kalamata olives, some cucumber slices and greens. I added some olive oil and vinegar and enjoyed every for full. The lamb shish kabob was the... More

We came just for the lavas bread (the size of a large dinner plate, it comes hot and you poke it to deflate and tear into it for dipping) and hummus platter. Enough to share with 3-4 people, it was tasty. The hummus plate had tabbouleh, baba ganoush, hummus, and other dips. The red lentil soup made for a great... More
