Great food Great location

This was our first visit to Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine and we look forward to returning. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were simply but perfectly prepared. We chose to dine outdoors on their sidewalk cafe and enjoyed people watching on Park Ave as much as we enjoyed the food.

We drove from home which is San Augustine to Winter Park on Mother's Day. This is our favorite restaurant in Winter Park and luckily we were able to get right in . I ordered chicken shish kebab , came with Rice and vegetables. My husband ordered the lamb shank which was delicious and fell right off the bone. We also... More

A cold well made vodka tonic. Lavas (the size of your head) and humus for an appetizer. Lamb kabob entree and a great Turkish coffee for dessert. Can't recommend this wonderful restaurant enough. Have been numerous times and it might be getting better.

Lovely setting (in and out) with authentic Turkish cuisine. We sat outdoors and people-watching was a nice plus. Some excellent Turkish wines are also available. Do order and enjoy the bread!

We weren't planning to stop but we're intrigued by the menu, smells, and the crowds. We were not disappointed! Both of us are vegetarians and found the menu to be generous and satisfying. The food was wonderful and different and authentic. The dessert (we had chocolate hazelnut baklava) was outstanding! Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our visit to Bosphorous. It was hot outside, and the restaurant was a relaxing respite. I suggest you order the (loaf of) bread if you like hot, fresh bread as an appetizer. But be preapred for a wait. We were told 12 minutes, but it was close to double that. The food was good, the service decent, and... More

I really liked this restaurant, I've been to it a couple of dozen times. The food was great, the service was good, the prices were moderate, and the restaurant was full of people dressed in middle eastern garb, attesting to its authenticity (at least in my mind). We walked in last night, the restaurant although busy was not as busy... More

First visit to Bosphorous and thoroughly enjoyable. Varied menu with staff very happy to answer any questions and very helpful. Would recommend this as somewhere different to try.

The food we were served was disappointing. The moussaka served was bland and greasy. The lamb within the dish did not taste fresh. The calamari was tough and covered in a hard batter. Overall, a poor experience.

This was my first time experience with Turkish food and from the meal I had at Bosphorous, it won't be the last. The staff was great and very attentive. They have a nice wine list and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend a stop here for dinner while in Winter Park.
