Description: Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a family owned business, established in 2005, that offers variety of authentic Turkish food from many regions of Turkey. Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine adapted its name from one of the oldest cities in the world, Istanbul, which was once known as the Constantinople in the early 13th century. The name “Bosphorous” taken from the strait that lies in the center of Istanbul connecting the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, Europe to Asia. The decor of this eatery is kept to minimum to draw the attention to the food. The intent was to create a modernized, warm authentic atmosphere by taking the old elements of Istanbul and combining it with some modern influences to create a truly unique experience.

This was a very pleasant surprise as we walked through Winter Park. It is located 108 S. Park Avenue, the main shopping street in downtown. We stopped in for a cold drink, or two and found a lovely facility, nice bar, and a charming staff. My wife and I stayed for lunch and had a specialty meal that was a... More

Bread (lavas) ($4.25) is a hillside of warmth that provides foundation for the mixed cold appetizer platter ($21). One order of each was just right for our party of six with the addition of the small portion of lightly breaded fresh calamari ($13.95) and itsl pine nut sauce. Most entrees ($18-35) appear on a plate crowded with beets and shredded... More

I've been wanting to try Bosphorous for a long time, but just never did till this past Friday night. We met another couple there at 6:30 and were seated without a reservation right away. By the time we were leaving though, the place was pretty crowded, so we'll probably make a reservation next time. We started with the mixed appetizer... More

This restaurant has to have the best collection of Turkish appetizers as well as a very tasty entree collection in Central Florida. This establishment is on Park Ave., in downtown Winter Park. Which is a slice of perfect! A visit here will be delicious adventure in a perfect town.

Good food, good service.. We live 3 hrs away but we will drive back!:) We do not have a Turkish restaurant nearby, even though there are few in Tampa and Miami, we prefer Bosphorous to the other ones we tried.

This is a a favorite for us on our occasional trip to Orlando area; always a great luncheon on the sidewalk too. Authentic cuisine and very good service. I tried a Turkish white wine which was a nice pairing with their Lavas bread & cucumber sauce appetizer. Nicely prepared lamb Adana on rice & veggies.

My mom and I were told by my mom's friend about Bosphorous, telling us to go down for lunch on my birthday. Right after we got off the SunRail, we walked over to the restaurant and ordered a mixed appetizer along with challah bread. The mixed appetizer includes humus, babaganoush, eggplant, tarama, ezme, haydari, and stuffed grape leaves and every... More

The Turkish cuisine here is very well executed. Starting off with the lavas, a massive, hollow, somewhat sweet yet savory bread is always a good bet. It can feed an entire table, especially when paired with some of the dip selections. The falafel is also a hit. My favorite entree is the lamb doner kebap, but I also really enjoy... More
