Description: Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a family owned business, established in 2005, that offers variety of authentic Turkish food from many regions of Turkey. Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine adapted its name from one of the oldest cities in the world, Istanbul, which was once known as the Constantinople in the early 13th century. The name “Bosphorous” taken from the strait that lies in the center of Istanbul connecting the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, Europe to Asia. The decor of this eatery is kept to minimum to draw the attention to the food. The intent was to create a modernized, warm authentic atmosphere by taking the old elements of Istanbul and combining it with some modern influences to create a truly unique experience.

We had a great lunch. We opted for the lunch special. I chose the Chicken Adana which was on a bed of flavorful rice with half of the plate being filled with at least three different kinds of fresh vegetables. It included a fresh salad of greens tomatoes and olive. It was a very light dressing. The lunch special also... More

I have been to Istanbul twice this year but this is the best Turkish food I have had. Bread and humus etc for appetiser followed by mixed grill and extra lamb kebab to share. All excellent. Enough said!

My husband had the house salad. It was made with Romain hearts, spring mix, tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, feta cheese, tabbuli and olives with the house dressing. It was a nice salad. I had to special Beyti kebab. It was very good. The lamb was nicely seasoned and it came with rice, beets, tomatoes and onions and grated carrots.

Went here with my husband and a small group from church. We had never tried Turkish food before but it was absolutely amazing! To start we had Lavas with Hummus and Ezme. Lava is a hollow bread that is best torn by hand and used to sop up various items. It can be eaten with almost anything. The bread is... More

It has been a long anticipated wait to experience this restaurant. Every time I drive by on Park Av, I could not help but be curious about that big bread like image at every sidewalk table. What is that thing? I know now. Not only did I made a new favorite, but I got to taste some unique flavors of... More

This was a very pleasant surprise as we walked through Winter Park. It is located 108 S. Park Avenue, the main shopping street in downtown. We stopped in for a cold drink, or two and found a lovely facility, nice bar, and a charming staff. My wife and I stayed for lunch and had a specialty meal that was a... More

Bread (lavas) ($4.25) is a hillside of warmth that provides foundation for the mixed cold appetizer platter ($21). One order of each was just right for our party of six with the addition of the small portion of lightly breaded fresh calamari ($13.95) and itsl pine nut sauce. Most entrees ($18-35) appear on a plate crowded with beets and shredded... More

I've been wanting to try Bosphorous for a long time, but just never did till this past Friday night. We met another couple there at 6:30 and were seated without a reservation right away. By the time we were leaving though, the place was pretty crowded, so we'll probably make a reservation next time. We started with the mixed appetizer... More
