Description: Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a family owned business, established in 2005, that offers variety of authentic Turkish food from many regions of Turkey. Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine adapted its name from one of the oldest cities in the world, Istanbul, which was once known as the Constantinople in the early 13th century. The name “Bosphorous” taken from the strait that lies in the center of Istanbul connecting the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, Europe to Asia. The decor of this eatery is kept to minimum to draw the attention to the food. The intent was to create a modernized, warm authentic atmosphere by taking the old elements of Istanbul and combining it with some modern influences to create a truly unique experience.

This is my first time with Turkish food, so I didn't know what to expect. It was a great experience. First we had the Lavosh Bread, but it was served hot, just out of the oven and shaped and served like a balloon that you must deflate. We also got the Baba Ganoush to go with it, and this was... It's not often one finds a fantastic Turkish restaurant outside of Turkey or New York, so Bosphorous is a foodie's delight. My trip there last week was a pleasure thanks to a friendly waiter, Justin, who introduced me to a heavenly baklava cheesecake I will never forget. It followed a lamp shank that had been delicately seasoned, a sampling of... More

Visiting with family, we visited this restaurant for lunch. It was a great choice. We were 4 adults and a 2-year old and the food satisfied all our needs and tastes. Service was terrific and friendly and the pricing was appropriate. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food was delicious!

The food is excellent, the ambience is warm and exotic, and the service is top notch. I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Love the kebabs, the white bean salad, the bread and appetizers, and the baklava is to die for!

We had a great time at this friendly, reasonably priced place with great food! We enjoyed especially the assorted Turkish app plate and the signature bread loaf.

We eat here once a year or so, usually at lunch time. The food is consistently very, very tasty but portion sizes seem to be decreasing while prices are increasing. The service is just fine. However, the overall feel of the restaurant is somewhat less sparkly than it used to be. I'm not sure that we are going to rush... More

I'm giving this a 1 because I can't give it a zero. The owner asked my party to leave because my 1 year old son was being "disruptive". After he was confronted he was very rude to my wife. I'm been an Air Force officer with more than 17 years of service and I've never been so disrespected in my... More

We have children of our own and understand that at times young children are not feeling well and / or may be sick and we take this into consideration. We love children and are fortunate to have many families each and every day dine with us with their infants and / or small children without issue. We always welcome supervised... More

We ordered an appetizer plate with flatbread and we all loved it. We each had a different dish, though all of us ate lamb. My lamb shank was delicious, but not extremely interesting as I would expect Turkish lamb shank to be. It was missing some herbs and spices that would have pleased my palate. In all fairness, one of... More

Very delicious food and very tasty hummus, I recommend dipping it with the very special bread they have. I like the environment of the restaurant and the very specific menu.
