This is one of my favorite restaurants. Great food, excellent service and atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to get the kitchen staff to work on their uniform appearance. Overall awesome place.

Luma is a very attractive, upscale restaurant with fine food. The restaurant has modern urban decor. The cuisine emphasizes local, organic produce where possible. The cuisine is best described as updated American. We enjoyed foie gras and tuna carpaccio appetizers and flounder and pasta main courses. All were excellent. We always ask ourselves whether we think a restaurant could make... More

Had dinner here recently. Nice decor. Interesting menu choices. Pretty upscale. But the food didn't live up to the menu descriptions or the server's descriptions. Service was fine except the timing of bringing out the various courses which was way off. A couple of side dishes arrived about ten minutes after main course. Most items we ordered were pretty good,... More

We have dined over the past few years three times at Luma. I have recommended it to others in the past because of the fine service (which we still experienced) and the great food (not so great this visit). The "chestnut-stuffed chicken breast" with butternut squash was a real mystery when it came; there were virtually no chestnuts to be... More

The menu was very different, which is a nice change. The food was mid priced amd really fresh and tasty. But my take away experience was the great service. Our waiter made my mom feel special on her birthday. He made great suggestions and seemed to really enjoy it there. We talked about ingredients and their cook book and his... More

Very trendy restaurant on Park Ave in Winter Park. Always packed. They also have some outdoor seating which is never available. Modernistic decor and modernistic menu. You will have a good time and enjoy your visit. But be prepared for a big bill. Save for a special occasion unless you just pop in for a drink.

Friends took us to this upscale restaurant in Winter Park. Place was packed. We had a reservation. Our table was okay.. note tables are close together and ours was in an area where my chair was bumped several times as people went by. The waitress asked us if we had been there before and we told her no..... We were... More

What a find. High end, ultra modern, very euro, casual dining - more La Jolla, California than Florida. We (3) had Sunday 7 pm reservations and were thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. The service at the bar and table was excellent, especially Sonny, our waiter. The sommelier and assistant. mgr., David, allowed me to select a wine for our... More

First the service was great! The menu had a lot of interesting choices. I settled on the ahi appetizer which was very different but good. Wine was great. The bad part was My meal was extremely salty! To the point I couldn't continue to eat it. I normally don't complain in a restaurant but for the price and the fact... More

I've eaten at Luma many times and I love the bar and atmosphere. Some of the servers, however, seem untrained and unable to make good suggestions...often they don't even know the menu. Sadly, the food isn't as good as it once was either. Tonight the food was not top notch. Salty pasta, raw egg on the ceviche (even the white),... More
